Item shipped fast.. Replaced old thermostat with this product. Besides having to cut and strip the wires to fit new connections, install on my kegerator was easy. So far its been a few weeks and still working great!

This never shut the compressor off even after reaching temperature it just ran the entire time

I wanted 30 degrees in my kegerator, but this thermostat only dropped the temperature down to 37. It's not my kegerator because if I bypass the thermostat altogther, my kegerator drops down to 27 degrees. What else can it be but this thermostat? It's cheap!

I have a ~1940's mini-fridge. The wires started arcing where they connect to the cold-control, slowly burning through the bakelite housing. Suffice to say, the old unit was toast. I ordered this replacement, hoping I could make it work. Well, it actually lines up perfectly with the old bolt-holes, and works great! The old one had the temperature probe pressed up against the freezer housing. This probe is smaller, but still was able to be tightly fit into the same spot. I wasn't sure what temp range to get, but I figured this one should be about right. At the lowest (warmest) setting, the ambient temp in the lower section of the fridge was about 55-60. Adjusting the dial to about midway keeps the ambient temp around 38.
