Not for beginners
I have waited to get this pattern for a while as it reminds me of when I was a young girl and what I may have done to a snowman. I am a very experienced cross stitcher. This kit is not for beginners who know nothing about cross stitch. The Aida fabric is stiff and rough. I will be changing it out to a nice Evenweave white or light blue background. The floss colors are very pretty but the floss has no sheen like a DMC or specialty thread and appears rough and appears to shed. The color-card is a huge help with the presorted colors instead of receiving in one or two huge bunches to sort with very good lighting. I also do not know if these flosses are Colorfast. This time I may switch out for my DMC or specialty flosses. I always place the colors and numbers on floss cards placed on a binder ring for ease in use. I am not fond of color charts so will be enlarging and copy in black and white. I always make a working copy so original does not get damaged. There are always a lot of 1/2 and 1/4 stitches along with backstitching and combining two colors for the effect of these kits. That is why I say they are not beginner friendly if you know nothing about cross stitching. In fact, I find Dimensions kits some of the hardest to stitch out of all my patterns. That said, they also turn out very nice due to there being so many color switches, backstitching, 1/4 and 1/2 stitches.

Beautiful small stitchery to give as a gift
I liked the plain simple phrase that says everything......treasured friend.

Beautiful design
I’m a long time dimensions fan and this one continues to meet the standard. Relatively easy compared to other kits. Vibrant color and delightful image!

Cloth too small for qsnap frame.
The cloth was too small to hold securely in a qsnap type of frame without catching worked area under clamp. I also ran out of thread 15376 even though I am very conservative with thread and did not waste any.

Design is great and all my friends love it
Design is great and all my friends love it. The reason that the Treasured Teapot is getting four stars instead of five is due to some chart flaws. The doily stitches spilled out into the shadow under the lace, the letters were spaced a little awkwardly, green stitches were randomly placed behind lazy daisy leaves, and the lace took a long time to create since back-stitching made it look segmented (maybe it should be conch-stitched?). This kit also has A LOT of french knots and lazy daisies (stitched loops like the bows on lettering, etc.). If you are not a fan of either of those, you may want to determine if kit is still good without them.In short, this kit is great if you are doing for a friend (as most probably will) and don't mind the imperfections. If you are doing for other purposes, you might get frustrated with redesigning it a little bit.

Not enough thread
I do like the kit, but had to buy 2 in order to have enough thread. The little girl reminds me of my grand daughterso I have enjoyed working on it. I ran out of the light and dark teal and did not want to substitute somethingelse.

Beautiful pattern
I am 3/4 through stitching this pattern. I love the picture, but would have preferred buying my own floss. It came with floss and I tried to convert it to DMC via a chart online. I had most of the colours, but not all of them matched even close to what was provided and I couldn't go to a store to compare because we were under a stay at home order due to Covid. And just to add to my frustration I ran out of thread for one of the colours. Fortunately, I had a DMC thread that did closely match that one.The pattern itself was a bit difficult to follow because the lines showing where to backstitch covered up the stitch underneath leaving me to have a best guess at what colour I should use. Also there are 7 different colours used for backstitching and only 3 colours shown on the pattern. Some it is obvious which colour thread to use, others not so obvious.I would have preferred just the pattern and buying my own floss. Just as an aside, when I knew I was going to run out of one colour I sent in a request for more. They are no longer answering requests and the pattern is outdated.Would I buy another Dimensions pattern? Unlikely. Shame because I love the picture.

Stitch plan not correct
It's a lovely picture to stitch, however there are mistakes/ differences between the picture and the stitch plan. For example, the picture shows that it is snowing via blank squares, however the plan has filled in these. It doesn't give the same effect. You can see the lack off effect on the girls coat quite clearly.
