Love the magnets, hate the straps
I've had three knee operations due to patellar subluxation, and while my knees no longer dislocate, they are still prone to problems. I recently had a recurrence of tendonitis, and decided to give magnetic therapy a try. I'm very happy with the results. Within two days, the pain was gone. Kneed-it is nearly perfect. It fits snugly, but not uncomfortably, below the patella. It only gets four stars because of the strap, which digs into the back of my knee. Placing a folded kleenex under the strap eliminates the chafing, but it shouldn't be necessary. Perhaps if they re-designed the strap or used different material...

Helpful for my loose patella
I've been dealing with a loose patella for over 1 year now and it's really limited my ability to work out my legs and do squats and what not. My best friend told me about this strap and i have to say it's been a miracle worker. Ive already used it for 2 intense boxing classes and I have been able to do squats and lunges and all the other strenuous boxing activity with minimal knee pain and I have not had my knee cap pop out of place or buckle at all! I can totally feel the extra support of this band. I have had small amounts of knee pain the day after when I am NOT wearing the band, but it's tolerable and I'm hopeful that with this band I can actually rehab my knee and get back to regular leg-days and no more modified workouts!

It helps, but design needs to be tweaked
Bought it to help with "runner's knee pain" & patellar tracking. Have not tried similiar devices, but I picked this one because of the idea of the "V" and magnets. However good the concept, some things need to be reworked. Pros - The V design does seem to help keeping all the bits & pieces in your knee where they're suppose to be - tracking is managed so less pain from patella going off groove, also pressure from "V" on either side alleviates the tendonitus. Cons -- There is no padding on the straps & after wearing for extended periods they dig into you -- very uncomfortable, very defined strap marks after removal with sore & tender flesh! There are pads in the "V" part against your skin (thanks) , but it renders the magnets almost useless -- the magnets are located on either side of the "V" behind the neoprene padding. Testing the strength of the magnet, it could barely hold on to a safety pin (and I had to place the safety pin on the magnet part; it was not really strong enough to "pick up" at all; no resistance when you pull the safety pin off). There is a non-magnet version of this device; it shaves on the cost if you don't subscribe to the magnetic therapy thing -- that's the one I would have gotten if I had known about the strength of these magnets. Put something (knee sleeve, a cotton bandana, etc.) between skin & the Kneedit -- that makes the device more comfortable, reducing but not altogether eliminating the line marks & tenderness from the straps digging in. If the product was redesigned it might be very good. Unfortunately, this product isn't quite the solution for me in its current form, so I will keep looking.
