After a bizarre incident stripped him of his reptilian body and reduce him to a brain-like form, he was exiled to Earth. In this 80's tv series version, Krang has lost use of his android body and is forced back into this bubble walker. This 1/15 Scale Krang figure features 9 points of articulation. Includes interchangeable tentacles, an articulated walker with a glass-like acrylic cockpit which opens and closes and a three-pronged stool. Packaged in a unique collector's box with a dioramic insert and BST AXN sticker. Review: Careful of the brittle weapons - Weapons easily break. Take care and be careful. Review: I was surprised - Well detailed, great articulations, and many accessories. Careful though with the 2 golf clubs. they are flimsy and thin. otherwise, a great figure

Fantastic figure, priced a little high.
Since the line began, I've picked up several BST AXN figures and while none of them were disasters, many of them looked and felt mediocre - not realistic and detailed enough to be true "collector" figures and not priced low enough to be mass market toys for children. Human likenesses have been very mixed, with figures like Napoleon Dynamite looking plastic and cartoonish, and the rock and roll figures looking more realistic. Sauron from Lord of the Rings is detailed and fantastic, but the Buffy Figures look simplified and "off." Quality in the line is very mixed. Krang absolutely rises to the higher side of quality. I was never a huge TMNT fan, and have no interest in the Turtle or mutant figures produced so far. I've always appreciated some of the the more interesting designs though and among them, Krang - a disembodied, tentacled brain-like alien - was always a favorite. When I saw a preview showing BST AXN was adding Krang to their line, I was intrigued. The pictures looked impressive, seeming to find a middle ground between full cartoonish style and an almost retro-sci-fi look. At $20, I wasn't convinced, but when I saw one available used in Amazon Marketplace for a few dollars less, I took a chance and ordered it. I was not disappointed. This is a very good figure that can work with multiple scales. The pink alien "brain" is molded and has few paint applications, but is detailed enough that with a custom paint job, could look very convincing. His walker is outstanding. It has smooth paint, crisp detail, and is surprisingly interesting compared to his vintage playmates toy. It almost looks like something from the Fallout game series and could work with a variety of detailed lines, including higher end collectible figures. The legs have "shoulder" and "knee" joints so it can be posed slightly, though the lack of ankles or outward movement puts it easily off balance. Two non-articulated tentacles can be attached to the front of the walker and when his ball-jointed arms are removed from his body, Krang can sit inside and it looks like he's piloting a small mech. I enjoyed this figure much more than expected and consider it one of BST AXN's finest so far. At $20 it is a little steep for the size of the figure but the walker is so well done it doesn't feel like a rip off. I'd feel more comfortable paying $15 or less for it though and if you see it for that price, snap it up.
