M&D Memory Foam Mattress with 11 Different Zones, 7 cm Memory Foam, Certified Medical Product Made in Italy, Felt Foam Model, 140x200

This arrived very quickly. Unfortunately it simply doesn't suit us. It is a very, very firm mattress. We have been it using for around two weeks. During this time my other half has developed sciatica and I wake with a sore neck. It is very dense and firm. We went for the 7cm height of memory foam thinking it would be soft and comfortable. My other half tried sleeping on his side - this has stopped him waking up with sciatica but leaves him with a sore shoulder. I am sure it is great if you sleep on your back and like a really firm mattress. Until using this mattress we didn't have any back issues. It's such a shame as we were encouraged by the positive reviews. It's a pity we can't return (I can't see how we can send it back to Italy now it is unpacked) and opt for the seller's multi-layer mattress which looks like it would be better for side sleepers. Make sure you are happy with a super firm mattress before ordering because it could be an expensive mistake (however much a bargain it looks) because there is no trial period with this mattress, as there are with similar mattresses on the market.

Dont touch with a barge pole.I wish I had paid more attention to the negative reviewer as my experience was very similar indeed and equally out of pocket by £289I have had many memory foam mattresses. I was so looking forward to a fresh one as my other old one was showing its age.Mattress arrived timely way, but I was so shocked at how light it was. Thought not alot of it and set about unpacking and allowing to expand.It fully expanded in about 30 seconds.All my previous ones have taken a few hours.You can feel a witness on memory foam matresses where the sponge meets the all important memory foam. I could feel it had 2cm memory foam and nothing like the 7 advertised. I gave it ago that night anyway, but it was just the rock hard foam I could feel and 2 cm memory foam on top, totally unforgiving and a killer on the joints, nothing like the several previous memory foam mattresses I have had that are firm to get onto but then adapt to body heat and pressure and allow you to sink in. This was just like being lay on the floor.spoke to seller, gave them the requested photos firstly claiming I could not know the memory foam thickness form looking at it (you can and you will know what I mean if you have had one before)They looked at the photos showing an 18cm high mattress, not the 22cm advertised (used a steel rule to show) and they told me that the memory foam hadnt yet fully expanded, give it 5 days to expand and needed to be warmer (was that week in June when it was 30+ for several days).It was no different on the 5th day at all. 18cm mattress with 2 cm memory foam (I wouldnt give £100 for it)Now getting a runaround from the seller, I turned to amazon. Amazon, from the a-z guarantee told me I would have no problem with a refund. Then told me to return it. No one will more an expanded king size mattress that I could find so amazon told me to use parcels 2 go. (thats another story)Anyway, seller wont sign for it. Courier tried again and again. Cost me an additional £38 (so lost that now aswell as apparently you cant insure mattresses for transportation despite the online system accepting it and the insurance, its something they have a disclaimer on (pretty much everything is on this disclaimer)So now I have no mattress and down a further carriage element.Seller wont respond despite acknowledging the problem / miss-selling initially.Amazon disinterested. (really surprised me on this)I have left instructions with my bank and is my only real hope of finding a customer led solution to this. i have put an exhausting amount of hours and days in trying to resolve this.Please avoid the horror, pick another mattress, Even amazon tell me now I shouldnt have used a none amazon seller as they would have dealt with this much more differently.If anyone out there wishes to ask any specifics about the mattress, go ahead.If I can save anyone else the whole experience, let me know what would convinse you. I was brought in by all the great reviews, which I now feel are fake. Theres the odd one or now 3 which I believe are genuine and if you look, they stand out being very negative, all the others read - 'what a fantastic nights sleep.......bla bla bla, and begin to sound fairly generic in the end. Read the negative reviewers first! save a packet.

Item arrived on time couple of months ago, every night since installing has been cosy and comfortable. It's a firm mattress where if I move my wife doesn't get disturbed and vice versa. If the durability of this product is as good as they claim I would certainly recommend Materassi&Doghe to anyone contemplating buying a foam mattress.

Quality mattress firm but very comfortable i have back problems but this mattress has helped a lot delivery took a bit longer than usual but it is delivered directly from manufacturers in Italy great value and quality very happy with purchase thank you

I sleep on my side and after 1 week have noticeably less soreness in shoulders and hips. I did feel that I slept hot the first night so added a wool topper. Also, I sleep with a cushion between my knees. Anyway, the mattress was delivered in less than a week and is as good as I had hoped for.

I am pleased with the product but a although my email was a answered by return I think the entries leaflet with information regarding the mattress should have been in English - I can only presume there is information somewhere regarding a guarantee!

Thought I would give it a few weeks before leaving a review, but yes, very nice comfortable mattress. Some people may find it a bit firm, but I actually prefer a firmer mattress.

Painfully uncomfortable. Seller will not accept return. Waste of money, do NOT buy!! Have previously been very happy to other Memory foam mattresses, not this one. Have bought new headboard and frame and topper to try and make this more bearable. We will now have to discard this and buy a new mattress. Heed my advice, PLEASE
