As the tagline states I was nervous about ordering a new charger for my laptop, because of all the horror reviews about how they killed the laptop or started a fire. I have needed a new charger for awhile now, my original Toshiba charger came with a straight plug that was bent to the point of replacing. One of the reasons I ordered this charger over another was the right angle plug that I wanted. The other two were the descent reviews and the UL listing, which many other "off" brands did not have. It works and the power brick is actually cooler than on my original Toshiba, which would get hot when charging. I also like the build and blue LED light. My only complaint and hence no 5 star, is it charges slightly slower than original. I really wanted to give it 4 1/2, but cant do that.

I have a Toshiba s55 Satellite with which I've been using the stock charger since I got it. However, eventually the pins ended up bending inside of the charger jack, and that caused the charging to become very spotty (would only charge at certain angles). I picked this up as a replacement and I never looked back!The Good:-This charger actually charges a lot faster than the stock charger. With my old one, going from 0% to full would take over an hour and thirty minutes, but this charger brings it to full in under an hour! Amazing.-The wire is sufficiently long enough to be able to reach any plug in your room. It's around 14 feet long and you can coil it up very easily as well if you're right next to a plug.-Cheap for the quality! There are cheaper chargers out there, but I've tried a couple others and they either had shorter wires, didn't charge as fast, or were flimsy and broke within a month of getting them! This charger I've been using consistently for 3 months so far and I've never had a problem with it.The Bad:-I can't say that there's anything negative about the charger.I would highly recommend it to anyone that has one of the laptops serviceable by this charger. You never know when your own charger will break, and when it does, you'll be glad to have this guy handy!

The two improvements found in this replacement charging cable when compared to the original Toshiba cord are the length, which is 14 feet, and the angle of the plug’s housing, the part that goes into the laptop. It is formed into a 90 degree angle and since it is offset it is less likely to pull and break the connection at the point where the cable exits the stress relief. This should add to the useful life over the original.Modestly priced, the cable does require a bit more space than the original straight entry plug so it is worth checking before ordering. Quickly charged my laptop right out of the box, is working perfectly with lots of length so I can place it in various locations rather than tethered to one spot. I am very pleased with the purchase.

It took me a while to find the right cord for my laptop, as these did not list ALL of the different types of computer series. I finally got out a magnifying glass and checked the little power box on my original power cord to find the product number, and was able to go with that instead. Cord is great, and works quickly to recharge my laptop while I am working from home! The length is ok, but I wish it were a few inches longer.

I bought this charger to replace my 2nd laptop charger that has crapped out on me in 6 months. Shipping was swift and it came packaged well. The charger has held up well over a month of use and i am satisfied with my purchase. The build quality is superb for a laptop charger as most aftermarket chargers seem to have poor build quality and wires fray after a few months. I've had no problems with this Pwr+ charger and the cord length allows you to reach anywhere you could need. The only minor issue i've had is the blue light on the charging brick is very bright, especially in a dark room, however that could be fixed by just turning the brick over with the light facing the floor.

Almost had this product for a year now and I would recommend for replacement. I was a bit sketchy at looking at Universal Chargers but didn't want to spend a crazy amount for an oem type charger so I went with this and couldn't be happier. The length is great on the charger so I don't have to worry about that typical shorter length and can move around a bit more freely and it doesn't get too hot as well at least for me. Definitely get this project and I would definitely get another charger if I happen to need one in the future.

The packaging was very well. It looks exactly like the picture. Unfortunately, this did not get 5 stars because of these reasons. Here are the pros and the consPros:-lightweight-portable-inexpensive (you get what you pay for)Cons:-gets hot when you charge it-takes longer to charge than my previous charger-the plug is slightly bigger so I technically have to "jam" the input for my computer to charge

saved me from the horrific size and ridiculous heat-level of those power-supplies which come with the laptop such as with a toshiba or an asus-zenbook, both of which I have, and both of whose power-supplies were, what, like frequency-burst-radios telling the three-letters a realtime mp4 of my screen OR WHAT? I mean, manufacturers should just use THESE power-supplies, unless, in fact, their power-supplies are meant to be huge 1980s walkie-talkies afterall.

I bought this charger for my Toshiba after breaking the jack plug on the original. Just had my fingers crossed that it would fit the lap top when it arrived but I needn't have worried. It's actually a better fit than the original that came with the laptop, in fact it's a much better and sturdier product all round. Very happy that I chose this one.

The charger was ordered and delivered very quickly, which allowed me to get back to work quickly
