Very happy with these speakers. Mid line for Alpine which still places them above many competitors’ top line offerings. The sound great.

Music ok but needs amp
Needs an amp to get it right. Speaker is a good quality. Music ok but podcast is lower end muddy. Same with audiobook. Like I said, needs an amp.

I replaced the factory speakers in my 1995 Ford Bronco with these Alpine S2-S65 speakers and couldn’t be happier.
