I found the differences between speeds 1 and 8 really effective im sitting in bed around 10ft away and i can feel each changes in speeds. As for the decibels 5 and below there's barley any noise any higher than 6 and the noise will get irritating whilst trying to sleep, 7 and 8 is going to be really irritating however im never going to use anything above 4/5 when sleeping anyway unless we have a severe heatwave but even then im pretty certain that 5 or 6 at max will be plenty sufficient for myself although noise wise on 7 and 8 doesn't bother me in daytime when watching tv or gaming so its fine in day times although im pretty certain im really not going to need such speeds for myself. Having a controller is just amazing as the issue with my old fan was waking up in the middle of the night or early hours freezing cold and having to get out of bed just to adjust the speed or knock it off completely so having a remote control is going to be so convenient. Personally im not going to use any of the other settings like echo or timer but the temperature control interests me a lot so i may set it on auto and see if it helps reduce the need to even alter the speed during sleeping. Very satisfied with the performance, looks nice and easy to use, it won't look out place during winter months so unlike my older fan i don't need to store it away in a cupboard, this fan gets 5 stars all the way for myself.

Well they said this fan is silent and it truly is. I have both 42 and 32 inch sizes with the smaller used in the bedroom. Even on the hottest night I find speed 1 or 2 (of 8) perfect to sleep without any interruption. On higher speeds the fan is still quite quiet and the cooling effect is fantastic with one 42 inch replacesing two older noisy fans. I recommended to a friend who is equally praising. I now have three and couldn’t be more pleased. Not cheap but you get what you pay for. Excellent.

Happy with this fan, it's very quiet on the lower settings and works very well ! Remote control easy to use and I love the fact that if I get hot in the night I can turn it on without getting out of bed! The timer is very easy to use and great if you fall asleep but don't want it on all night . I don't know how efficient it would be in a big room ,but for the price I think it's excellent value.

This is a great fan despite the 4 stars. It moves a lot of air, even on the lowest setting. Whilst on the lowest setting, it's extremely quiet, making it easy to sleep in the same room. I'd say it starts to become "loud" at setting 5; anything over that, then be prepared to increase the volume of the TV or your music. But by that point, it'll be blowing a gale in your room. The fan is 3ft tall, and the base has a 1ft diameter, so the footprint is minimal compared to a bladed fan. It's light and portable, so it can be easily moved between rooms if required. Two very small gripes. It came with a simple and effective remote (I decided against the WiFi version). The buttons are hard to tell apart in low light, as they have white printed symbols on a whiteish-coloured button. Once you learn which button is which, though, this becomes less of an issue. Also, the display panel is a cheap, shiny plastic. Whilst the fan is oscillating, it catches the light and reflections from around the room, and it's quite distracting. This could be improved. Overall, it is a great fan, and I would recommend it.

My daughter bought one of these originally for her house, her lounge is huge and you can feel the coolness from one end of the room to the other really well. I was so impressed I bought myself one. I am a really hot person in general and have high blood pressure so have a fan on all year round to sleep. I have only used it to level 4 even during this may heatwave and its kept me cool throughout the day in my studio flat. Its wonderful, there are lots of options how you want it to blow the breeze, sound control, temp control and an 8 or timer. Its noise control is perfect for sleeping, smooth oscillating or stationary. Easy to put together. The back removes for easy cleaning too, perfect design for easy cleaning 100%. Stable and well made. Best fan ive ever bought. Comes with remote control too which is simple to use.very lightweight for carrying around from room to room and hand held from the top back section to easily lift. Definitely worth every penny in my opinion, and when my old bedroom fan bites the dust i will be buying another of these for in there too. I highly recommend it. Bought this during the heatwave and it was absolutely brilliant. It cools the room down quickly and the different speed settings make it easy to get the airflow just right. It’s also surprisingly quiet, especially at night. The remote control and timer are really convenient, and the oscillating feature helps circulate the air around the room. Really happy with it and would definitely recommend!

Like many others in these recent heatwaves, we found that our existing fans were insufficient for our needs. having bought our son a tower fan for his home, we looked at the reviews for this one and ordered it. Very pleased with the purchase. It is powerful, with 8 different speeds and it can remain targeted or it can oscillate (our preferred setting) as desired. We find a setting of 3 or 4 is normally sufficient with maybe a 2 overnight. Quiet enough for us to not notice it whilst the TV is on and quiet enough to leave on in a bedroom during really hot nights. Very pleased with the purchase and very happy to recommend it.

I’ve only used this a couple of times so far and found it really effective, but it truly came into its own yesterday during the heatwave we’re currently experiencing. Last night the temperature in the house was still 26°C and it felt really uncomfortable while we were watching TV, so I placed this fan between myself and my husband and set it to oscillate on speed level 4. Even at that lower setting it immediately made a noticeable difference — in fact, after a while my husband asked me to turn it off because he was getting too cold from the draft! There are 8 speed settings in total, but even in those temperatures I didn’t need to go any higher. Working from home today in a south-facing room, I used the fan again and only needed speed 5. The touch-screen panel on the unit has an easy-to-read digital display, and you can either use that to control the fan and adjust the settings or use the supplied remote control, which comes with batteries included. There are four different fan modes, explained clearly in the instruction booklet, as well as a timer function. I haven’t used the fan overnight in the bedroom, but on the lower three settings it would simply provide “white noise” and I don’t think it would disturb sleep. Speeds 4–6 are slightly more noticeable, while 7 and 8 are quite loud. The unit arrives in three parts: two base plates and the fan itself. You simply clip the two base sections together (which I did find a little stiff, so you need to be fairly firm), thread the power cable through the centre hole, line up the arrows on the base, and twist it into place. There are handy grooves to guide the cable so the unit sits flat on carpet or tiles. You can also choose whether the cable exits from the front or back of the base. If I had to criticise anything, it would be that the fan only oscillates 90 degrees. My previous tower fan rotated 180 degrees. It’s not a major issue though, as the cooling performance more than makes up for it. Overall, I would thoroughly recommend this tower fan.

I’m so happy with the purchase!! Fan is excellent. Tall enough to leave on floor but still cool the bed area. Several different speeds but even at the highest speed the fan is very quiet. The remote allows you to turn on or off, adjust fan speed up or down and also turn on/off the fan rotation. Great price and good functionality. 100% recommend

I wanted to get a decent fan that I could use in different areas of my apartment that had some punch to it. I have smaller floor fans that are ok for smaller areas but they just don't have any distance power. I saw this tower fan and wanted to try this out as it looked like it would have some power to it and could make a difference especially in my living room where my portable A/C is. Although on really humid days, I like to use my A/C, I wanted a fan that could provide enough wind that I didn't have to use my A/C. This tower fan has some really decent airflow where I didn't have to use my A/C a few times. I wouldn't say it's a substitute for an actual A/C but if you have it at the right place and can feel the wind from it, you will be pretty happy. It has many different settings and there is a manual to expand on those settings and modes. It's pretty easy to install and light enough to move around where you need it most. It also comes with a remote control. It's not too loud but on the highest setting, I wouldn't say it's whisper quiet but quiet enough. I really like this tower fan and happy that I chose to spend more money to get one of these instead of another floor fan that you need to clean when the blades get dusty or twined up with lint or whatever. This fan has no blades and uses a motor to belt out the wind speeds. Definitely worth the extra money.

Après une semaine d'utilisation, je suis pleinement satisfait de ce ventilateur DREO. Il est silencieux, ce qui est idéal la nuit, tout en étant suffisamment puissant pour rafraîchir efficacement mon espace de vie d'environ 20 m². Son design est élégant, la télécommande est pratique et les différents modes sont un vrai plus. Un excellent rapport qualité-prix, je le recommande.

Compré este ventilador buscando algo silencioso para usar por la noche, y la verdad es que ha superado mis expectativas. El nivel de ruido es realmente bajo, apenas se nota incluso en la velocidad media. La potencia de aire es muy buena, mueve el aire de forma uniforme y refresca la habitación sin necesidad de ponerlo al máximo. La rotación de 90° ayuda mucho a cubrir más espacio, y el temporizador es práctico para dormir sin preocuparse. La pantalla LED y el mando a distancia hacen que sea muy cómodo de usar. El diseño en color negro también queda elegante y discreto en cualquier habitación. En resumen, un ventilador muy completo: silencioso, eficiente y con buenas funciones. Totalmente recomendable.
