The WhomBatz Shield is a favorite for WhomBatz players. The shield is soft and flexible allowing them to be used both defensively and offensively. The shield is easily strapped to either a player’s right or left arm depending on preference. WhomBatz uses only the highest quality materials in its manufacturing to ensure the greatest durability possible. With WhomBatz, you will finally experience swords and shields that don’t rip, snap, or otherwise rapidly deteriorate with use. Due to their light weight, soft foam, and sturdy construction, WhomBatz are ideal for rambunctious outdoor play, martial arts training, live action role play, or to accompany a dress-up costume.

Best Foam Shield We've Found
ORIGINAL REVIEW (5 STARS) Well built - made from a flexible foam material. Should hold up for a long time. The rivets that hold the straps to the material vary between this one and the blue shield I ordered. A minor, cosmetic difference, but something I noticed.UPDATE (4 STARS) - The arm straps can slip off the bolt connectors, and the metal rivets can come apart. I was able to repair in both instances, but I wish this had a sturdier strap or a solid handle.

My 3 year old won't break this!
This thing is awesome. I purchased a cheap sword and shield set for my 3 year old, he destroyed one of the shields in days. I purchased this for me to use until he destroys the other one. Sometimes he complains that the edge is "sharp" but he is 3 and shoving his face against the edge. I'll get the swords shortly, but I think the swords might be serious for a 3 year old, lol. The shield is heavy for him, but he isn't going to break it.

Durable and perfect for young boys!
My kids love these. I have 3 little boys and they haven't stopped battling since they got them. The shields are thick and easy for them to hold. They have definitely been invaluable in keeping them from getting hit too hard by one of their brothers. I totally recommend these for anyone who has kids that like to fight with toy weapons or dart guns.
