Perfecto para Synology NAS
Excelente opción para NAS.. lo conecté a una Synology DS224+ y lo detectó sin problema.. ya tengo otro disco de misma marca y modelo trabajando 24 horas desde hace un año, y todo al cien sin incidentes..

Onacceptabel. Misleidende productinformatie, onduidelijkheid over garantie en een trage afhandeling.
Het product werd aangeboden als nieuw, inclusief volledige fabrieksgarantie. Pas na aankoop bleek op de productpagina dat het om een gebruikt product ging. Hierop heb ik direct contact opgenomen met de verkoper. Na navraag gaf de verkoper toe dat het product inderdaad gebruikt was, een ander typenummer had en niet de volledige fabrieksgarantie bezat zoals op de Amazon‑site werd vermeld. De verkoper kon bovendien zelf niet aangeven wat de exacte garantie was; het werd mij meegedeeld dat het om 12 maanden garantie via de verkoper zou gaan. Volgens de verkoper was de schijf slechts enkele uren getest. Na verder doorvragen en het controleren van de schijfinformatie (op basis van het serienummer) bleek echter dat de schijf aanzienlijk meer gebruikt was dan aanvankelijk aangegeven. In overleg heb ik het pakket niet aangenomen. Vervolgens heb ik bijna drie weken moeten wachten voordat het aankoopbedrag werd teruggestort. Voor mij is dit onacceptabel. Misleidende productinformatie, onduidelijkheid over garantie en een trage afhandeling. Ik geef hier geen sterren voor, maar moet er 1 selecteren om dit te publiceren!

Insist on replacement drive if you have to return it
Drive was slow to spin up and wasnt recognized in Dell T620. Switched over to Synology NAS and it took several minutes to be recognized, caused the other drive to crash, and then wouldnt format. Verified that the NAS would support its size. Couldnt even read SMART data. The page here says its eligible for replacement or refund but going through the return process only gave the option of waiting 30 days for a refund. Got onto chat and the AI bot said the same but kept pasting the direct quote from order that it was eligible for replacement. Finally got the option for a phone call. Got excellent phone support and got a 2 day replacement. 3 starts for now until I get the replacement. Hope Seagate hasnt got as bad as Western Digital. Really makes your stomach turn to spend this much and the drive doesnt work and then you may have to wait for a refund to buy another,
