UPDATE: Sept. 28, 2021. -- I stopped wearing this pendant necklace for a while, and I wondered why. Both the clasp and the style of chain are very sharp, & uncomfortable to wear, as they cut into the skin all around. my neck. The pendant is very beautiful, 20 mm=0.75" wide, and 25 mm=1" high, but it turns yellow or discolors easily even if you keep it in a small zip lock bag in a dark place. so it needs cleaning with a jewelry cleaning cloth often. I never wear this pendant necklace in the shower, and I always keep it dry. The back of the pendant and the chain clasp are S925 stumped. I had to change the original chain with one of my own that is more comfortable to wear.

Cute pendant but the necklace needs help. It appears sturdy but the clasp almost looks like it is missing. It is just a wee bit bigger than the chain and very hard to clasp when trying to out it on. Therefore, I haven't worn it yet. It will need a different chain. As for the "sterling silver". We'll see.

Very pretty necklace. I bought this elephant necklace as a gift. I thought the chain could have been a bit better quality, it did nothing for the pendant. I replaced the chain with a sterling silver box chain with a lobster claw clasp that I got on amazon in a lighting deal for $12.00. The chain makes all the difference.
