I had previously owned a Duncan Butterfly and I bought this because I wanted to start learning all my 1A string tricks. Four days of playing later, I have learned most of my 1A string tricks. It plays very smoothly and binds nicely. The only thing is that it doesn't sleep too long for the more complicated, longer string tricks, but it sleeps well enough for most of the beginning tricks. Hard to believe I went from doing around the worlds with a Duncan Butterfly, to an Intermediate level 1A yoyo'er in 4 days. Overall, the yoyo is good for beginning your 1A string tricks. The bearing is a KonKave bearing so it's alright.Also, if you have duct tape, you can take off the caps where it says FLIPSIDE by taking the duct tape and sticking it to the side, waiting a few seconds, then ripping it off. Caps can be put back on also. If you save the box, take the purple cardboard/paper thingy that displays the features out, and if you look inside of it, it shows you instructions on how to bind.
