Good performance for the price.
I purchased this foam cannon because I could not justify the cost of the MTM Hydro PF22 since I am only using this for personal use. Perhaps if I was a professional detailer and using this on a daily basis I might have sprung for the PF22.As a weekend warrior this foam cannon met my needs perfectly. It produces a lot of thick creamy foam and adjusting the spray pattern was very easy. It produced a thick foam from a narrow stream to a full open wide pattern. My only minor complaint and reason for 4 stars regarding ease of use was the air adjustment knob on top that regulates the air to water ratio which determines how much foam it produces. It had a very narrow tolerance it seemed to go from a very watery foam mix through much of the adjustment knobs travel to a very thick and dense foam toward the last 1/4 to 1/8 turn of the knob which was OK for me since I want a thick foam. The mixing valve is made from brass and stainless steel components and is well made, the plastic bottle is of good quality and has a heavy wall construction so there is no chance this bottle will collapse in on its self like some other manufacturers bottles. The bottle has graduations on the side to make measuring the soap to water ratio very simple.Although I have only used this for a few weeks, so far I am very pleased with its performance only time will tell how well it holds up in the long term, but I believe it is a very good performer for its cost. The only suggestion I would make is to make sure you get the 1.1mm orifice if you are using an electric pressure washer as most inexpensive electric pressures washers will not produce a thick foam with an orifice larger then 1.1mm. A spare mesh filter is also handy to have.

Great Pre Soak! Super clean!
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. I seen my neighbor down the street using one so I had to have one. I also bought the honeydew soap with this. 2oz of soap and I put 2 coats of foam. First one I let soak and then another coat 10 min later. This thing foamed up my whole vehicle in less than a minute! Easy to use. Connected to my pressure washer in 2 seconds. One dial controls foam/water ratio and the other the width of the stream of foam. All that foam for 2 coats and still had half the canister left. Satisfied with this purchase

Cheap good stuff
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. Use this to wash my UTV. I mixed sink dish soap and simple green together for my cleaning solution and it still foamed up decently lol.

Fun with the kids
I used this with a popular Chemical Guys soap (Citrus?) & couldn't figure it out at first. I kept increasing the soap dial; I should have been decreasing the amount via the dial on top. I was using a 3800 psi, 3.5 gpm machine turned all the way down & it worked great. You still have to use a sponge to clean the car; the soap itself will not clean by itself. Don't spend too much money on one of these though, it's more work to pull everything out than benefit. It's good with atv's & stuff you can't reach with a sponge. Probably use it for the house next.

Paid for new, got used or opened and rummaged through tbd if works
too cold to test today, will do in few days...if it works perfectly then will not return. REGARDLESS, it came in an open box with no seals. Each item had clearly been opened as the per item plastic packaging/bags were torn open and inside of packaging was all destroyed. not a shipping issue as exterior of 2nd shipping box was perfect. Likely a purchase/use/return from the looks of it but was marked new. Top Tip, if not sealed with all parts in original from factory packaging and all original tape/seals on boxes unbroken...it is open goods and thus USED. If it works not worth effort to return but at best that gets you a 3 star. If it does not work due to being used.....we'll return and drop to 1 star.

Worth The Money
IMO if you were to spray 2 cars, one with this MATCC lance vs the CG lance, I don't think you would be able to tell a difference. With the water adjusted this lance lays heavy foam just as good as the others guys but for half the cost. I've only used this item a few times since I've gotten it so I can't necessarily speak on the durability, but it feels like a sturdy piece that will last a while if you take care of it.

2nd gen model works well.
Already owned the MATCC first gen cannon. Wanted a spare and got this 2nd gen. Bit more substantial in its design. Foams well so far. Using with a 1600psi electric pressure washer. Recommend buying a 1.1mm orifice for even better foam if using with a lower psi electric washer.

Potential to make thick foam
Knocked off a few stars because the brass parts are not the best looking and still had plenty of sharp edges that i needed to fix before use... and although I can't compare this to a higher priced/name branded versions (yet), but this cheaper version seems to need a lot of my favorite pink soap to "foam" properly.Attached to a Subaru 2.4 gpm 3,100 psi gas pressure washer... according to the parts I recieved, it has a "3,200 psi max" rating so I decided to try it with my gas pressure washerFirst time I didn't add enough soap and ended up with a "watery foam" similar to just using my Subaru pressure washers "soap" attachment... wasn't impressed, but figured trial and error on soap mixtures will probably fix the issueSo I doubled the amount of my favorite pink soap/wax mix... this time I used a whole 200 ml worth of Meguiar's Carnauba Wash and Wax and watched a thick foam cover our dirty Subaru as soon as the pressure washer fired up.Barely used half a bottle of that 200 ml soap/warm water mixture to foam and fully wash a 2009 Subaru Impreza.Hopefully this MATCC attachment will last... living off a dirt road it was becoming a hassel trying to keep the fleet of vehicles looking clean.* Edit - So far I have tried several different car wash/wax products and every one needs at least 200ml if not more to foam up properly. But when I do find the proper mixture, I can always wash 2 full size SUV vehicles for every full MATCC Foamer.Tried Wash and Wax soaps from these brands : Adams, Armor All, Black Magic, Chemical Guys, Eagle One/Gold Eagle, Meguiars, Mothers, Nanoskin, Nu-Finish Rain-X, Splash, Turtle Wax, and a few others I can't remember...

Lots of foam! Easy to use with any pressure washer
Recently got a new car so I wanted to wash and protect it the right way. Used to use a foam spray attached to hose, but then the foam mixture and thickness was nowhere comparable to using a good foam cannon, which is why I decided to buy this. This is something a car detailer/enthusiast should have. Even if you want to make your life easier with less hand-washing, this is a great way.Tips: fill bottle with 3/4 water, then put in soap and swirl around. Set the water pressure (or quantity) lower using the +/- knob and then adjust nozzle so the spray shoot vertically in a line. The foam should come out pretty thick and whiten your entire car. I leave soap on and then actually hand rub it in more to make sure the soap agitates the surface better before washing off. 1 bottle should be enough to coat most cars.Compared to brand name foam cannons at double or triple the price, this is more worth it because it does the same thing. I recommend also getting the version 2 or 3 because durability is higher and you get the adjustment nozzles.

issues that cheaper ones don't have
Spray pattern only goes one way up and down it cannot be rotated to spray side to side so it shoots foam over the car and on the ground. adjustment knobs are very loose and move often so you have to adjust them every time you stop and start the flow doesn't hold your preferred setting. its going back

DON’T BUY
This foam cannon may feel quality because of the heavy brass but don’t let that fool you. The box was delivered like it went through 7 rounds of a heavy weight championship fight and the threading on the plastic bottle was gone. After screwing the top part on the bottle once to test it out (the foam was not thick at all and it was leaking from 39 different places) the threading was gone and It wouldn’t even seal the top part of the foam cannon onto the bottle anymore. What a waste of my money and time, do yourself a favour and just go buy a Chemical Guys foam cannon or another reputable name brand foam cannon. MATCC has lost my business and I’m a professional detailer in my city.

4 star at best!
The cannon worked fine to dial the flow and pattern. I used 4oz of (MQ Gold) soap in the cannon with distilled water and was not overly impressed with the foam. My son has a cannon that's half the price and works just as well, but it is not of the same quality to last as this one. I would give it a 4 star at best.

Definitely recommend
I was super impressed by this product, very sturdy and simple to use. Creates a thick blanket of foam from basically any soap you throw in it. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a foam cannon, also it's a lot cheaper than the more 'premium' brands and honestly it feels better constructed.
