What can I say? I see good reviews and bad. My experience is that this was reasonably priced, ran the vacuum well, and lasted 2 years. Not a bad deal. Thanks.

Purchased this battery to replace a stock Li-ion battery in a Roomba 960. The capacity rating on the replacement battery is a much higher 4800 mAh compared to the stock 1800 mAh. I was a little concerned about using a battery with a different chemistry, since the charging characteristics are different. With the stock battery, Roomba would vacuum for about an hour and then redock itself to charge before going on to complete the job. At the end of the life of the stock battery, the battery would die before Roomba could make it back to the dock. With the replacement battery, Rooma run for 2 hours and finished the entire floor of my house in one charge. So far so good. Hopefully the replacement battery remains good for at least a couple years.Update: I have had this battery for 14+ months and it's still performing well. Impressed that an inexpensive NIMH battery is holding up over time and runs much longer than the iRobot supplied Li-ion.

Fast delivery, easy installation. The "But" is, as with so many products these days, this battery is made in China so it's longevity and reliability are suspect. My experience so far with most Chinese electronics-related products is they do not last. So they're less expensive upfront but can cost you in the long run. And it's very difficult in many instances to determine the country of origin when ordering online and dealing with resellers.

Why would roomba sell their OEM battery at such an expensive price - I mean it is just battery. these ones fit just fine, hold their charge good, hopefully for longer period (my original roomba battery died after 3-4 years). I would recommend these over the OEM, given the price difference.

I've had my Roomba for a long time. After moving, it sat for quite a while before I got to unpacking it and got it plugged in. Afterwards, it would only run for a few minutes, then the battery would die (despite it charging for several days). I tried resetting the Roomba (which had worked in the past when my battery wasn't holding a charge as well) but nothing worked. I thought maybe I was going to need to finally shell out some cash and get a new Roomba, but decided to try this first. Worked great. Roomba's doing just fine now!

I recommend this produce for the Roomba. Long battery life, easy to install and great value for price of battery.

I purchased 4 of these batteries for myself, mother, and grandma. I did a ton of research and read so many reviews that I felt good about using this brand. I proudly installed them and was careful to follow every instruction or protocol for each model installation….charging, and initial set up, yada yada. Fun times end there!!!Well…then a nightmare of issues started happening along with the desperate calls from mom & grandma!!! 4 vacs going crazy or doing nothing at all!!After initially working for a short time and having a happy mom and grandma, the bliss ended. All FOUR of our $$$ Roomba's are now useless. I kid you, not !!!4 months of aggravation, fried mother boards, endless error messages, beeping, sounds, harassing error messages on not only my vacs, but my beloved family’s vacs, too!!! . Countless trips to try to fix their vacs, my vacs, the phone calls, the text, emails, the printing instructions to reset, reboot, and trying to trouble shoot …what the heck was happening!!!Asking the husband to help!! Then dealing with his frustration….It’s has been the worst experience ever!!! I had to get a degree in Roomba!!! Did I mention the Error messages every 5 seconds? Vacs throwing Error messages. 1-7 then special ones I’m pretty sure no one knew about!!! Hours wasted on this BS….You tube, google, manuals….by the time you figure out it’s not you or user error it’s to late and your screwed!!! There’s no support from seller or Amazon. There’s nothing… no compensation for the cost to your sanity, the hours you wasted on a crap battery that is not compatible with any Roomba …no apologies, no return, no replacements, or acknowledgment. Your stuck with Dead vacs, that never work right again!! I’m unbelievably embarrassed that I not only ruined my family’s vacs buying this battery but also mine!! 1200 bucks and over a hundred dollars in crappy batteries!!! I’m out 100% percent. I don’t know how all the truth and bad reviews get so buried… but you’ll find them if you look!! please don’t buy these replacements!!!! If you do be prepared to loose your money and Expensive Roomba and your mind!!!!

This is the second replacement battery I’ve installed. It runs longer than either of the previous batteries. I hope it lasts.Update: Have had it for almost one year now and am very pleased. It still runs longer than any of the previous batteries.

Update after using. This claims to have higher capacity than my Roomba’s original battery. I bought this to replace an aging battery. This battery doesn’t last as long as the worn out old battery, quite disappointing
