These are an amazing alternative to the Baystar or SeaStar systems. You can’t go wrong for the price of this unit. The quality and materials are excellent and the helm is indistinguishable from the SeaStar. It appears they are the same maker for helms from SeaStar and Vevor. Best value you can find for a hydraulic steering setup. I installed it on a 90hp Honda and it is a game changer. It is very responsive, and made a huge difference in steering for my boat. The install was very simple and straight forward. The instructions are good and online videos are available as well. I have not had any issues with it or leaks.

I thought this was going to be a huge project. Turned out it took me about 1 full day 6 hours to remove my old cable steering and install this new one. I took it out for a ride yesterday and works amazing! Take your time to properly bleed hydraulics properly. When you think you're done, keep going.

The unit seems to work fine but the seal on the pump shaft is leaking so I contacted Vevor support. There response was to replace the seal did not offer to send me one and they don't sell it on there site also asked for more pictures. There is no way to respond or add pictures to there response email so I created a 2nd ticket asking for the seal or a new pump only response is that they are looking for a solution and would get back to me .this is a brand new unit just installed and the oil on my floor is $32 a quart .

Fairly easy to install, but instruction were not the best; Small details were not pointed out (like which end of the hose need to go to the helm.). My first pump was defective, but they replaced it. 2nd pump is working great! I have a Yamaha 115ph. I need to andjust the engine tab more cause the steering is hard to turn left, but at low speed it’s fine. Overall, it is a great buy, especially for the $$$$. If you want something that last over 10+ years, paying 2x or 3x for the baystar / seastar, might be your path. This product is fine, but I noticed the cylinder doesn’t have replaceable ends; so if / when you have a leak on the cylinder, you will need to buy a new cylinder.

they should outlaw cable steering. this makes life so much better and easier. can turn wheel with one finger but holds like a pro. docking loading everthing about boating is so much better now. this will save you time and money in the long run. 22ft deck boat 115hpmerc .

Really good quality easy installer

Seems to operate as good as the daystar, hose fittings work well if you follow instructions. Only issue I had was bleeding the air out, was by myself. Use a small quart container, place the supplied bleed hose on, add fluid to container place hose in fluid air comes out, put will not allow air back in. Cycled through 2qt of fluid several times before all air was out, but you can reuse the fluid from the bleed container once air bubbles settle out.Time will tell on logitvty
