So far, so good
It's been installed and working for less than a week so I will update in a month or so. So far I love this machine. It is doing an excellent job cleaning and drying my clothes. There are 3 of us in my family and it seems that I will keep up with all of our laundry very well. I kept my full size laundry units in the basement for larger loads. The only complaint I have is with the shipping company. I had to tip the truck driver 20.00 to get him to bring it up my drive way to my back door. He told me his contract was to leave it at the curb on the street. If you can buy this from Best Buy do it. I only ordered this here because Best Buy couldn't get it to me for 2 months. I really missed the geek squad delivery. The price was the same so if you can wait, don't buy it here. This is my update!!Have been using this machine for a couple of months now. I could not like this machine more!! Having my laundry next to my dishwasher is a convience dream come true. It works like a charm , still looks brand new and , is easy to clean . I love it!!! The only negative is that I have to use fabric softener because without it the clothes come out with a slightly burnt smell because of the drying process but it's worth it.

This machine makes laundry less of a task!
Best money I've spent in a long time! I hate doing laundry but it is a necessary chore. I didn't realize until I got this machine that part of my loathing of laundry is being available to move it from the washer to the dryer and being present during the entire process. This machine frees me from all of that! It is amazing! I live in a small condo so I figured this would be the best fit for space but I've discovered many added benefits: I love the timer! Set it for when I want the laundry to start, or indirectly, end, and forget it. With the up-to-19-hour timer, I can even set up everything the night before and when I get home from work the next day, my laundry is done! Since it is a combo washer and dryer unit, I don't have to move the clothes from one machine to another. Start it and a few hours later, the clothes are cleaned and dried. The cycle provides plenty of time to run errands, do other chores and if I'm not there right when the dry cycle ends, there's a "cool-down" phase where the machine tumbles periodically to reduce wrinkling. Amazing! The vendor was also amazing. They called to verify my purchase and set up a time for delivery. The delivery folks were very nice and professional as well. They took care of everything and I was ready to go when they left. I would highly recommend them!

Not for RV'S
I live in an RV and looked at amazon for an RV washer/dryer combo. This machine came up under that request and I purchased it. When it came and was installed I sat down to read about the machine. Right in "warranty voided" it said warranty voided if used in an RV!! It also said not recommended for drying!! Buy a separate dryer. Now here I am checking to see if this machine is still coming up under RV, and here it is. That is the purpose of the low rating. As far as being happy with the machine I really can't complain too much. It does take a long time for the cycles. I don't have a problem with wringing as long as I keep up with the laundry and only wash and dry a few things at a time. Like maybe only one pair of jeans and some underwear. 3 t-shirts and some underwear. They do come out a tiny-tiny bit damp but this is good for me because I can lay them out on the bed and as soon as the heat dissipates the clothes are dry and wrinkle free. Also I've learned that the worst thing I can do is to use dryer sheets or fabric softeners. They seem to leave dark spots on my clothes and the clothes have to be rewashed and these products also seem to make my clothes wrinkle more. I'm pretty good about using a tub clean product and I don't have problems with smell. I've had my machine 4 years and have not had mechanical problems yet. Sounds like maybe I've been lucky.

Great combo unit.
Bought this for my mother-in-law. She is in her 70's and had a laundry room in the basement, but we didn't want her having to walk up and down stairs with laundry and risk falling. This allowed me to easily move her laundry facility to a closet upstairs. Simply wired up a 20amp outlet and plumbed hot and cold water to the closet with a drain. Didn't have to put in the high voltage outlet a normal dryer requires and didn't have to install a vent line for the dryer either. Yes it takes a while to do a load, but it is PERFECT for her. She simply does a load a couple of times a week and she is all set. She loves being able to set it up and take it out when it is done, and she really loves not having to go up and down the stairs anymore!I did my research before buying and this certainly lives up to its reputation.

Combination washer dryer
The delivery was very smooth. And great customer service. They called to confirm shipping address, and to schedule shipping date. The machine is straight forward to use. Very quiet.Just put clothes in there turn it on, walk away and come back and you have dry clothes! We chose a combination unit rather than washer dryer separately because the height of the closet opening was not tall enough for two standard size machines, or a laundry center. But this unit saves a lot of room and time!

the clothes smell really bad. This has been the case since day 1
Cleans clothes well, but if you use any of the dry cycles, the clothes smell really bad. This has been the case since day 1, so it is not a case of stale water . Have no idea why this happens. LG, you have to figure this out and fix it.

Terrible Dryer
Bought this for a small apartment and didn't realize that these units are not vented. Would not have purchased it if I had seen that. Dryer takes foreverrrrrrrrrrrr and tenant complained. The wash function is fine but finally had to give up and buy an electric vented dryer that I stacked on top. Use to hear the tenant's machine running all the time and now I don't. If you have a way to vent, I would never recommend a ventless machine.

Shuts off in mid drying cycle
* SHUTS OFF IN MID DRYING CYCLE VERY OFTEN. (Appears to be a "known issue").* Not handling large loads well.* Vibration and noise levels are beyond what they should be on a balanced & leveled machine...
