Pet Store Privacy Please Cat Litter Box Tent w/ Mesh Ramp

Worked out great for my needs. I threw away the ramp. I have an oversized high side cat box. The sides stretch enough to fit and I just push the entrance down below the box entrance. My fussy cat took to it without a problem. Now an open cat box is not what people see when they come to look at my house that is for sale.

This tent fits perfectly on our over-sized, 21" x 19.5" boxes. Another review said their cats knocked it off...I would guess they have a smaller box. It would be worth investing in a larger box just to be able to use this tent. Instead of a bottom like on a camping tent, there are sewn-in pieces of fabric in the corners underneath the tent. It just snaps over the litter box for a snug fit. You just quickly pop off the entire tent to clean the litter box. As with many other reviewers, we found the ramp to be pointless and discarded it. If a cat can find it's way to the top of a refrigerator, it can hop up a few inches into the tent and litter box. The tent helps keep the dust down in our laundry room. I only have to wipe dust off the washer and dryer once a week instead of daily. The cats didn't hesitate to use the boxes with the tents. I like the look of the tent too. Much better than looking at an open box. Love it!

The tent is a little bigger then it needs to be, but still serves it's purpose of hiding the litter box. The ramp on the other hand is really useless, and I threw it away.

Needed a litter box cover because the whole thing grosses me out. Looked at all the options and they were expensive - and how am I supposed to know if my cat wants a top entry or side entry? Plus just thinking of the cleaning of those was also grossing me out. This little tent is perfect. The only assembly is for the steps that lead into the tent, but I threw that part out because it makes no sense to me why a cat would need stairs to get into this tent. Tent pops right up, and fits right over the litterbox. My cat is fat and he can get in and out just fine. Best part is the cleaning - first, it doesn't get any gross stuff on it because of the shape - the litterbox doesn't touch the sides, and second, just spray it with Odoban and you're good to go. Very happy with this solution.

One of our cats loves boxes or tents made out of a blanket and piece of furniture. We thought he might like this tent, and he does. The "ramp" part was cheesy and did not assemble well. We just threw that part away since we did not purchase this item to put over a litter box. For what we were looking for, it was a good purchase. Had we counted on the "ramp" to aid in litter box entry and egress, I would have given this item three stars.

I've always used the domed litter boxes with the clumpable litter. When I switched to the Beeze type of litter box I needed something to give the cats that closed in feel they like. This tent fits perfectly over the Breeze litter box and affords the cats they're privacy. The flimsy, netted ramp that came with it -- I just threw that out. I couldn't imagine any cat actually using it. All in all I'm very satisfied with this litter box tent.

The cats knock it RIGHT off the litter box. I got the point very quickly that they were not amused with me putting a "tent" over their litter box. Also the top is mesh... completely open. If you are hoping to "contain" some of the odor... don't count on it. I tried putting the cat bed in it to see if they'd use it like that... nope. They mess with it and it folds up and ends up flat in the floor. It's pointless and I wouldn't waste my money on it if I were you.
