Halen Mon Pure Sea Salt PDO 100g

This is the first time I have used this salt and I’ve got to say it’s the nicest I have ever used. The taste is excellent, delicately salty not overpowering it can be used both for cooking and directly onto cooked food. Although slightly higher price than some sea salts it is definitely worth the money. Would recommend you try it. Arrived ahead of expected delivery date and was well packaged.

I know the product well & am aware that it is very pleasing to use. However, the price is absolutely extortionate. I cannot feel that I will be repeating this purchase in the near future. Maldon produces a perfectly palatable alternative at a fraction of the price.

Once again, I return to Amazon to order another package of Halen Mon. I love it's crunchy flakiness and its unique flavor, quite distinct in both texture and taste - I'm a fan of Celtic salt and fleur de sel as well, great to have multiple options in my cabinet, but Halen Mon is my absolute favorite.

This salt does not have a bitter after taste. The crystals are large like pretzel salt. It does not have iodine added so it is for special use. It is very white in color and the package has suggested ways to use this gourmet salt.
