So far its a great product. I purchased this to replace my Liftmaster LA400. The installation was fairly easy with 2 people. I decided to weld my brackets on to my steel posts. The electrical was pretty straight forward and quick to connect everything. My gates are 6.5 feet each and weigh about 350lbs each. The solar system works fine for them with no problem. I am honestly impressed with the quality, instructions and support for the price! They respond within 24hrs and are very knowledgable when I contacted them for some issues I ran into. I bought a junction box and placed the batteries (sold separately) & solar control box into that for a nice clean install. 100% recommend Topens over the bigger name companies for a fraction of the cost!

I replaced an older gate opener with this unit. A question to product support prior to the purchase was answered promptly and with excellent advice. I already had an exit loop, keypad, radio remotes, solar panels, and batteries installed, so I really only needed the control board and the actuators. It came with solar panels, but I will use them elsewhere. I also didn't need the weatherproof box as I already had an enclosure. The installation instructions were very thorough and easy to read. The one installation/design issue I with they would change is the terminal blocks. The wires are inserted horizontally, and the screws to tighten the wires are on the bottom. If you use their existing box, I have no idea how you would get a screwdriver in there to tighten the wires. This wasn't a big deal for me as I removed the board and mounted it in a larger box. The wires should go on the bottom and the screws should be visible and accessible from the front. The system runs on 24 volts. My existing system was all wired for 12 volts and rather than change the 2 batteries to series from parallel, I picked up a 12v-24v 10A converter, and left all my existing wiring in place. I just needed to wire power, the exit loop, and the O/S/C (keypad, remote) to the board. The actuator are smooth and handle a pretty heavy gate easily. It takes about 18 seconds to open. The adjustments are well labelled and easy to use. Make sure you power down before adjusting (as it says in the manual) or the adjustments may not be recognized. It looks like the firmware checks all the settings at power up. So far (1 week in) I'm very pleased with the system.

The double gate opener is great. Opens my heavy rought iron gates. The customer service is quick to respond. Due to the layout of my driveway they helped me setup the gate that way 1 side would open outwards and the other side opens inwards Highly recommend it. I added multiple wireless remotes for the family, the wifi link and the driveway sensor Really happy with my purchase

2 months old already board not responding,new batteries on remote and 2 12volts all connections tight won’t respond to remote control.have to spend another $70.00 on another board
