Really Works
This product has really worked. I can see the hard water stains disappearing from the glass door on my front load washer. My clothes feel softer, and the colors don't look faded.

Calhoun really works in hard water.
We lived in area where the water was really hard, and because we had a septic tank at the time we could not use a water softener machine, so used Calhoun for almost 17 years, then moved to a place where we could install a water dsoftner, but now live in an apartment where we are not allowed to install a water softener, so am now using Calhoun again,

Tablets Don't Dissolve Easily in Cold Water
I've used Calgon for many years. The powder worked great, but it was replaced by the liquid version. Both versions are great water conditioners - softening hard water and releasing built-up soaps and fabric softeners. This version is frustrating. In order to make it work properly, I break up the tablet as best I can and dissolve it in a cup of hot water. I then put the resulting liquid in my soap and softener dispensers.
