Versatile, slim and sleek.
Got this system after a long trawl through the internet. I had a small-medium budget and this was at the bottom end of it so I was a little nervous. I've never owned an Edifier system but heard great things about them.This system was meant to go with my pc as a main living room set, however once I hooked it up to my TV and watched Taken 2 (with massive bassy intro and awesome dub step song at the end) I couldn't stop grinning through the action sections and it's stayed there.The speakers will go as loud as you will ever need them (and louder) dependant on device. Through my kindle fire they got quite loud (6/10) but the tv is they way to go.So many people spends hundreds or even thousands on home movie surround sound, but if you're looking for good quality, crisp and clean sound this set is for you.I've had loads of logitech gaming 5.1 systems before and they were just a hassle with all the wires and getting the setup dialed in.This system is plug and play, adjust the bass which there is LOADS and off you go.They look great and stylish too, really impressed. 10/10

Nice product for the price!
Speaker system arrived 2 days later after the order was placed and the package was well protected.Easy to set up , hassle free.Design:The speakers are quite tall but slim and look really good in space. The sub is long and slim one as well. Both of them look quite robust and of good quality. All the trims are just plain aluminium and not blue or red (don't know if there are other versions of the speakers with different trim colours). The volume control looks incredibly beautiful with that illuminated ring around it.Sound:Volume levels are high for this kind of speaker systems. Not to support a gig ,but for a room like mine (6mx3m) the sound levels are perfect.The subwoofer has got some good potentials with the level of bass it can produce. The bass is good and is not even 30% of the max output.The satellites themselves produce a nice quality crisp sound as expected from an Edifier system.The only minor stuff that i would mention is that the satellites are not producing any low-freq sounds (bass) but only mid and hi-range ones. For the bass the sub is doing the job. This is just a difference to my previous one speaker system where the satellites had a little bit of 'bass' in them .All in all though, once you adjust the bass in the sub , you will get a great sound . No doubt about that. Even if you turn the vol up, it remains clear and nice.Defo happy with this speaker system on that price.

The Edifier M3200 is a great speaker package
I thought I would take a chance on this 2.1 system for my TV setup, and I'm glad I did. It looks amazing and the build quality is more like that of a much more expensive system. The sound quality is fantastic once you have the sub positioned and set to the right level for you. It doesnt sound quite as good as my Creative Gigaworks T40's but it is nearly there.My only complaints about this system is that the power switch is on the back of the sub, and although it has 2 inputs on the back of the sub it has no switch to change between them, so if you have sound coming from both inputs you will get a mixed output of the 2. However plugging another device into the AUX input on the wired remote does turn off the other 2 inputs until it is unplugged.

value for money quality speakers
Quick efficient postage, they came promptly and well packaged.Sound quality is very good, and room filling. The subwoofer can take a lot of powerful bass before it struggles and as long as the sound files are of high quality Eg 256kbps or above then they more than cope with full volume. They really have great impact when watching action films, the whole room shakes, for a real cinematic feel. Very pleased with these speakers. Aesthetically they are well proportioned. Look really good next to my television and the volume control is a quality product, which feels good when in use. Looks good when illuminated too.

Got them for £50, free shipping.Very good value for money. Excellent quality.Nice fit and finish (wooden subwoofer, glossy black satellite speakers, heavy touch remote).Tested on Digital Versus: [...]Neutral sound. Not too aggressive. Not too clublike. Well balanced.I'm using it on my laptop but I intend to turn them into sound kit for my TV (2x9w RMS + 16w sub).RECOMMENDE

Superb set of speakers
I use these in the kitchen (large room) where they give a room filling excellent quality sound. The volume control, connected by wire is great. It also enables me to connect via any mp3, iPod etc. I have also been able to link this to my computer via a 5m lead, but obviously I'm lucky where it's situated, but once again if someone else is using it I can then use the volume control output to play my music. Great looking, quality speakers for an excellent price. I have had no problems with the main switch on the back of the bass speaker but you may want to consider this depending on where it is going to be situated.

Faulty
I can't really comment too much on these as they arrived not working properly.The system looks nice and the volume control felt quality and smooth but the right speaker only worked intermittently (mainly silent) so I had to return them. This is a shame because I have the feeling that this would probably have been good, but I will never know.I realise all companies experience faults but I tend to operate on a "once bitten, twice shy" method and this was the first of their products I had bought so there s no long track record for me to look back on.

Good, but broke after a year
These are nice speakers with good quality sound, the subwoofer is a bit big and additionally the off button is at the back. You can turn them to 0 with the volume scroller, but the light remains on.One of two speakers failed, however switching out indicated it was the connection within the subwoofer rather than the speaker that was the cause. It wasn't really fixable by taking the speakers apart as the components were contained in a mass of glue, there wasn't any obvious connection issues.I've had so many problems with 1 speaker or earphone stopping working that I'm coming to think I'm cursed.
