Trucks Coloring Book (Dover Planes Trains Automobiles Coloring)

Really good book, especially for people who struggle to learn about technology/vehicles, or different types of trucks. You get to design your own trucks, unless you follow strict color rules.

Dover's "Trucks Coloring Book" is an excellent choice for beginners; the pictures are not too detailed for those little ones to color. Printed on nice quality paper, the pages are not so flimsy that markers will bleed through - unless a child holds the marker in one place for a long period of time.Further, it is the only coloring book available that is devoted to trucks. That has made Dover's "Truck Coloring Book" a hit with our grandson who is fascinated by trucks. Each picture has a brief paragraph at the bottom of the page giving the truck's type and a brief explanation of its purpose. This is particularly helpful for those who are not familiar with the different types of construction vehicles pictured.Thank goodness for Amazon and Dover Coloring Books! It is almost impossible to find coloring books in the stores that are not devoted to princess-themed or movier spin-offs, so the 4 for 3 promotion available on most Dover Coloring Books is most welcomed. If you are looking for some nice quality coloring books, I urge you to look at Dover's "Truck Coloring Book" and others available on Amazon.

It's cold, windy and raining outside; a day the kids are trapped inside and visiting my home. There's always TV and believe me, they would love to spend an entire day glued in front of the TV. And their parents and I would love for them to find other entertainment.So I fill my home with color books (both boys and girls type, younger age and older age kids), color crayons, drawing tablets, art supplies, games and turn them loose. My fridge door is full of new colored pictures and I can tell how much better they coloring inside the lines and watch their use of different colors expand. Sometimes I even color with them...just to prove that I still can (prove to myself of course because they could care less whether I color or not except for the fun factor!).This book is a good one; interesting pictures, not girlie and easy enough for young children and still be fun for older kids.

My son loves it!! Only downside is the pages are not perforated so I have to cut it out with scissors.

My friend threw her son a birthday party and the invitation said "one small request that shouldn't be hard, please bring a book instead of a card. Well loved or brand new, either will do. By signing your book, we'll always remember you" and I thought that was so cute! So I bought him this book as well as a few others and he loved them. Stopped opening the rest of his gifts and started reading right away!

Listen this is a book of pictures of trucks with no color at all. Apparently the point is that you add the colors of your choosing with crayons, pencils or markers. It's such a great idea. I've never been much of an artist but now I can be! Apparently they have these for "adults" as well that are more complex. But I would caution anyone from searching anything on the Internet using the term "adult". Also in my experience, don't expect your 3 year old to be able to stay in the lines. I mean how hard can it be? Apparently very hard for my little buddy... I disowned him for like 5 minutes but then we drank some chocolate milk and we're all good now.

This is a good book for kids who love trucks. It is suggested for ages 3 to 8, but I think it might be better if it was suggested for 5 and up. I bought this for my 3 year old grandson, but decided not to use it as a gift because I think the pictures are too detailed for a 3 year old to color. I will use it as a gift in the next year or so.

I purchased this for my grandson's 3rd birthday, he's young for it in relation to fine motor skills and the small areas to be colored. Dover books are always of good quality, this book doesn't disappoint. Paper of good quality and it has good pictures of the trucks he likes.The trucks pictured include Street sweeper, garbage truck, dump truck, ice cream truck, tow truck, steam roller, cement mixer, 'cherry picker', moving van, fire engine, snow plow, delivery van, milk truck, earth mover, car carrier, and bulldozer.

I have a son who loves trucks and isn't always as interested in colouring. This book has been great for him. The trucks are interesting and keep him entertained.I will admit not all the drawings are great as colouring books go. Some pages are hard to fill in as the lines fade away into each other so you'll be filling in one "box" and realize it attaches to another box. But it really doesn't matter. We actually bought a second one to give to his friend for a birthday present. So overall recommended and well enjoyed in our house

While I have not yet given this colouring book to my 3-year-old grandson, I have no doubt that he will love it. There are plenty of pictures of different kinds of trucks for him to colour, and all kinds of opportunities for his dad to explain and teach to him the different kinds of trucks, and what each kind is for. It is exactly what I was looking for, and I am very glad to have found it

This is a great purchase, the pictures are high quality and there is an explanation of each of the types of equipment in the book. Would even buy it again, definitely recommend this colouring book.
