Itโs the packaging, stupidโฆ product, probably quality, howeverโฆ
I bought it thinking that using it on some special silk would be better than using woollight or something similar. Iโm no more impressed by this product than I am by woollite and this is far more expensive than woollite. Frankly, I think I bought it just as a luxury treat for myself and really didnโt need to. It comes with a perfect little rubber cap to use for measurement, however, the little rubber cap sticks to the liquid, and only half of the liquid comes out of the cap so you most definitely have to have the machine running with the water, stick your hand underneath it while squishing the rubber cap around to get it all out and then the soap off of your hand and then because itโs expensive if you wanna make sure every little micro molecule of soap got off your hand into the washerโฆ at which point I realize it really is stickyโฆ and because itโs a rubber cap, itโs the stupidest thing of all โ-because itโs probably a good product โ but the cap takes longer to dry than a normal plastic cap! It seemed really luxurious when I took it out of the package, but I realize itโs all about the packaging. Thatโs the cost. I donโt know that itโs any safer than another gentle soap product, but OK, if I have a little kid running around the house, I probably would know better and if I truly didnโt know any better, my bed is this one is safer if my kid gulped it down. Donโt know if itโs safe with regard to allergies or anything, didnโt order it for that reason. Consistency of the detergent is really really thick. Itโs most definitely concentrated, which explains the thick consistency (duh). I really have no idea if it claimed the fabric with more or less gentleness. I still have some left in the bottle, so Iโll continue to use it, but I really donโt think itโs worth the money. If nothing else, the hassle factor pouring the thick stuff out of the small neck of the smaller bottle into the rubber little measuring thing that has to be squished around to get the liquid out out of itโฆ I want to support the company, but I wonโt be spending that much money again for delicate fabric detergentโฆ This was for silk pillowcases that cost me $75 apiece. If Iโm wrong, then Iโm wrong โฆ and I will eat my words and tell the truth in this review with an update โ and of course,be the one to suffer the consequences of less than perfection โ soft silk pillowcases hahahaha the girl has to treat herself once in a while I guess. Indeed, it is fragrance free. I donโt have allergies, so if youโre buying it because it says skin-friendly or allergy free, I canโt speak to that.

Removed sunscreen
Removed sunscreen from bathing suit! My suit looked so good. I tried another brand and it didnโt work. It comes with a plastic measuring cup, but the screw top was stuck in it, so it ended up being a bit messy.

It is great
I had been washing lymphedema sleeves in the washer on delicate with other detergent and in mesh bags as an easy way to care for them. While on vacation washing them by hand using this soap I realized by hand with this soap is so much better. The first wash by hand using this I was disgusted. The water was so dirty that I washed it all twice. Now that I use this everything feels so much fresher. Live and le a rn. This is now my.go to.

Great for deilcates
I like this product very much for cleaning delicates and wool items since it doesn't have the enzyme that can weaken wool fabric. There is no scent, which is really hard to find in delicate and wool washes. It does not irritate the skin, and I have eczema and extremely sensitive skin. I like that you just toss the measuring cup in the detergent drawer - I don't have to worry about getting every drop. This is a little pricey so look for it on sale, but to me it's worth it for gentle, unscented clothes wash.

Best detergent for handwashing
Been using this since May when I moved to a new apartment without onsite laundry. I have a washbasin and a mini washing machine and this detergent has been perfect for them. It's incredibly good at getting bloodstains and soot out (can't vouch for food/oil stains, though). I just fill my basin with cold water, add a little bit of the detergent, and let clothes soak overnight and they are stain-free the next day. Now, while it's unscented, it does kind of have a smell. I think it's impossible to have something truly be "scentless." Just know it doesn't smell flowery or linen-y or whatever, it's just kinda neutral/bleh, but only if you stick your nose right in it. It is pricey, but you really only have to use a teeeeny amount. The way I'm using it I'll probably still have some in the bottle by the time my purchase anniversary rolls around (but I am only one person, so, grain of salt and all that). Overall, it's legit and worth it, especially if you handwash a lot of stuff because you hate going to the laundromat lol
