Made me want to do this for a living. OK not really.
This was my first and I hope only Ipad screen replacement, but it was fairly straight forward. When used in conjunction with a couple of youtube videos (I recommend that you watch several to get a good idea of what you're getting into, and where those trouble spots are hiding. I was able to remove my old digitizer, clean the old adhesive, and have the screen put back in place in about 4 hours.I DO recommend getting a bezel as this kit doesn't include one. They get a little dented and moved with the removal of the old glass, and when I was trying to set the new glass, the bezel began to get in the way, holding the screen up around the camera. If I'd just pressed to push it in place, I likely would crack the new glass. If you don't replace the bezel, I was able to use the blue tool to keep it out of the way as the glass is pressed into place. I used all of the tools in the kit (mine only included one screwdriver though) except the suction cups. The old screen was so cracked it was pointless to try and suction any of it.The new digitizer screen fit perfectly with the new camera plate, and home button fitting right into place. A piece of adhesive on the digitizer cable might have been a help to keep it from moving during reassembly. All in all, I'd definitely recommend this kit. Price is very good. Tools held up and worked. Screen fit, and so far, the adhesive tape is holding well, though I've always been a big fan of 3M brand, which this doesn't use. I'd recommend adding an Xacto knife and #17 (flat) blade to your tool kit, and a few pads of medical adhesive remover to speed things up.The bezel would be a good addition to this kit, but if you're careful, you probably won't need it unless your old edges have been dented.

My Honest Review & Thought's (:
Honest Review:I Got An iPad 2 From A Friend That Needed The Screen Fixed. So I Looked Around & Found This One for A Reasonable Price. Wasn't Sure After Reading The Review's, But I Took A Chance. A Few Day's Later I Got The Package. It Was Packaged Up Well, Everything Was In There No Problem. But The Digitizer... It Had A Crack In The Top Right Corner. I Read Review's Saying They Also Received A Damaged Digitizer; However, I'm Sure If You Contact The Seller, They'll Replace It With A New One (Not Sure But Other Seller's Have Said So...) Another Issue I Ran Into Was That The One I Received Isn't An Exact Fit to The iPad 2. The Replacement One Is Slightly Smaller Than The Original. So There Was A Small Gap Between The Edge of The Screen & The Edge of The iPad. But It Didn't Effect Anything, Just Looked Odd. I Bought A Case for It The Same Day Which Covered The Gap & Yea. No Problem.Overall Thought's:- 5 Star Product; However, The Crack & Small Gap Give It 3 Star's- Came With Everything As Shown- Quality Packaging & Tool'sI Would Recommend You Contacting The Seller About A Replacement If The One You Ordered Was Cracked. Maybe They'll Replace It With A New One. I'd Buy If Needed. Wouldn't Recommend You Trying This Yourself Without First Watching A Few Video's On YouTube.Hope This Review Help's Someone Out With Their Order.(Would Have Attached A Picture to This But I Didn't Have My Phone At The Time of Unboxing & Later I Gave My iPad Away. But Everything Shown In The Picture Was Included, The Top Tool That Say's "SlyPry" Was Pretty Thin & Seemed Like It Would Have Broke, But Never Did & I Don't Remember Using The Tool Below The Blue One At All. So I Don't Know What That Was About. The Only Problem Was That The Screen Thing Was Already Cracked.)

Great Screen for the money.
The panel works fine but both the camera piece and the button at the bottom We are glued on hastily and not lined up properly had to remove them and re-set them. Other than that works great just take your time when doing it. plenty of videos on the process. As far as durability haven’t had it long enough to rate that

Cheaper than the repair shops
It is nice to be able to fix a screen on the iPad for under $20. Some of the items in the toolkit were a bit cheap but got the job done. Better than the $150 they want to do it at the repair shops.

Messy Adhesive Residue
My kit had no instructions, no recommended YouTube link for an instructional video - no paperwork at all. The wipes are wholly inadequate. One is supposed to be wet and one is supposed to be dry. They were both dry. And not the proper type of wipe anyway. The critical reviews all seem to mention that the adhesive strips on the inside of the digitizer don't work. I think that once you get everything together you have to really heat up the perimeter of the device. Then you have to apply maximum pressure for several hours to activate and set the adhesive. In the video I watched, the tech had a double-sided clamp setup that he put the device into. It was made to apply pressure all around the device in just the right area. He could tighten it and let it sit for a few hours and everything would hold together. Most of us don't have that kind of thing. I put the unit on a towel face down and stacked some books on it, and left them there for a few hours. As a result, the glass is not really securely in place. The main issue I have had to deal with though, is the protective plastic sheet that is on the outside of the glass. After getting everything together, I'm thinking, "Hey, I did it!" "I'll just peel this thingy off and I'll be done." Wrong. That plastic film or sheet, or whatever, must have been fused onto the glass. After getting it off, there was so much sticky residue on there I couldn't believe it. I tried a commercial adhesive remover, isopropyl alcohol, vegetable oil, glass cleaner, goof-off and mineral spirits - all applied with clean cloths, fingers, and razor blades. I have never seen anything like it. Finally tried a little water and baking soda, and that finished it up. I spent more time trying to get that stuff off the glass than I did on everything else.
