Since I started making my salads lately, I found lettuce wrapped in plastic supermarket bags decayed quickly. This lettuce keeper actually does extend the life of a head of lettuce, reducing waste and saving me money. Works like a charm!

The product seems to be keeping the lettuce fresh. My lettuce became ready for harvest all at the same time. I needed to find something to keep it in. So far it is working!

Although it seems to be a lightweight plastic it is holding up pretty good and keeps the head of Iceberg lettuce fresh. Easy to clean, just wipe with soap and water and dry. The lid comes off fairly easily so you have to watch it doesn't go flying off when you pull it out of the fridge. Anyway, it does the job - keeps the lettuce from wilting.

I thought it was a bit 'pricey'.........but, then, so is the lettuce, so it's worth keeping it fresh! I truly recommend this item to all who purchase iceberg lettuce. I will be trying out lettuce too.

This product is definitely big enough for a large head of iceberg lettuce. However, it is huge and once it is in my refrigerator it really limits my space. The other problem is it is very difficult to get the lid to snap on. I have only gotten it to do that twice and every other time I can’t get it on. Whether it’s been in the refrigerator or not seems to make a difference, when it’s cold it snaps on easier. This reminds me of the old Tupperware lettuce keeper my mom had when I was little. To try and find one of those again costs $60-$80, so this is a good buy financially. Bottom line is if you have a large refrigerator or don’t fill it up much, and if you don’t mind the hit and miss being able to snap the lid on, I like the product.

The lid is a hard lid dome. It does not have an air release like tupperware or soft plastic lids have. This lid does not stay on. I don't know if its just the lid I had gotten or if that is how it is. When I closed the lid I had put it in the refrigerator, later I went to get it out and the lid popped right off and my lettuce was all over the floor. I looked at the lid and the container and it just doesn't fit right. Its almost a little bit too big where it will close yet won't stay sealed. The insert that you stick into your lettuce kind of did its job, but not when the lid fell off and went all over the floor. That insert came right out of the lettuce. (Definately nothing like the old green Tupperware lettuce crisper I was use to using).The Lettuce did stay crispy. It did start turning rusty color on the bottom with in a few days time to a week.Cleaning it is definately a breeze. Rinse it put it in the dishwasher or just a quick wash by hand.I had recieved this a day late due to how it was shipped. USPS. So the 2 days for delivery really means 2 days to get to your Post Office and a 3rd for the delivery. I has ordered another product so they both came in 1 box. Too large for the mail box so the postal worker had put it in the parcel locker. Plain brown box with Amazon tape. The box was not in pristine condition by the time it made it into the Parcel locker. The Lettuce keeper was not in it's own box. It was just inside it. Not wrapped up or anything. My 1 gallon glass jar though was wrapped in many layers of bubble wrap thank goodness.I definitely will be searching for another lettuce keeper.

Product was just as shown. But after using I find the lid does not snap on securely. It pops off with just a slight amount of handling !

i love how it has a spike and a deep spot for water to go. no more wasting lettuce. i love it and would recommend

Will do the job ok but won’t fit in the fridge so defeats the objective

This was far too big for a larder fridge, unfortunately I had to return it which was very easy. On a positive nite it was made of good quality plastic

Doesnt close easily. Lettuce lasts about 2 weeks which im not impressed with. Costly for what u get
