Excellent!
Thick, sturdy and much better than a similar one I was using. True white! A bit difficult to open and close, but that is because they are fairly wide, which I like. I know they are only curtain hooks but I really like them!!

Excellent Shower Curtain Rings
I recently had a strong water pressure hand held shower sprayer installed; needed sturdier equipment to hold the curtain liner and outer cloth curtain in place. Was tired of the cheap rings that the curtain liner was constantly popping off of - so I'd have to reach up in the middle of my shower to reattach it. No longer an option now that I use a shower chair. Hours of research - decided to order these. My son removed both the liner and cloth outer curtains, then re-hung both on these rings. He claimed it was a little difficult. In my opinion, was well worth the effort since, not once, has either curtain detached from the rings. They are just the right size so the curtains aren't hanging too low. They're a good weight, nice and sturdy, and, best of all, they snap into place and never open unless you decide to open them. Well worth the $$. Very pleased with these curtain rings

Shower hooks
Not bad quality for the price. But do be careful because if too forceful the little plastic ends break off which make the hooks unusable

Ive spent too much money on shower curtain rings and other early morning ramblings
Sturdy, tough, glides on metal rod.We have a vintage metal rod that requires double the shower curtain and lining. It's so high up on the wall... I'm pretty sure the house was built around the da*n thing. But, these rings hold up to the metal rod AND the speed bump (two rods together creating an over lap). And I'm pretty passionate about this inconvenient speed bump on my shower curtain rod because it is the most infuriating experience. When you attempt to open our shower curtain it interrupts the usual fluid "whooosh" motion... very unsatisfying...But not with these little rings. I'm happy to announce that the whoosh is here and better than ever. These rings are durable, thick plastic. The locking mechanism helps to insure that the curtain stays on for once! (If I'm being honest there have been many times that my curtain was just hanging on by like three hooks. Why are shower curtains so frustrating?)So these rings are great and they're not those cheapo ones that eventually loosen from the weight of the liner and curtain. Remember I have four total curtains on my ancient curtain rod so believe me when I tell you that these things are the real deal. (I've now had them for over a year and they're still great - I've changed curtains several times since then too.)Other reviewers have said that it is difficult to open them, and I do agree. With weaker hands I'm sure it could be more difficult so please keep that in mind - but other wise these are great. They still don't help with preventing the liner from touching me but I don't think these rings are qualified to do that.Edited for clarity and an update.Update: they still work great after a year+ of daily use.

Not as good as another plastic brand
They work fine per this design, but it's the design that I don't like. I have a current set where the male end pushed directly INTO the female end on the opposite side -- so that there is no perceived gap. The Rocky Mountain brand has the male sliding in SIDEWAYS into the female end, and then there is a small gap in the ring itself where it's thinner than the rest of the ring. In one way, that's ok because the ring will naturally gravitate the skinny part to the bottom with the curtain hanging on it, but then again, that means all of the curtain pressure is on the male pin. I don't know the name brand of these older ones that I have (bought 5 years ago in a different color) but the are thicker and snap together strongly with no gap. So the Rocky Mountain ones are serviceable but there is a better option out there....somewhere.

Simply perfect
Not sure what the bad reviews are about. There's really not much that can go wrong unless some buyers tried to snap the locking pin straight into the opposite side of the ring. There are no instructions, but the locking pin slides SIDEWAYS into the slot in the opposite side and locks with a gentle snap. 12 of 12 installed perfectly and look great. These will last for YEARS...

They're better than the metal hooks
I've used these plastic rings for about a month and they're working well. They glide and haven't gotten stuck. They replaced metal hooks which would stick due to friction on the curtain rod.Not all of the rings "clicked" securely when I installed them. Basically you have to separate the rings by flexing away from the retainer and then snap back in to place. All of the rings flexed back into place but only some had a tight enough fit to really lock together.
