Yes, these come already sharpened

Are these pencils painted or wrapped in plastic?

They're painted. I ordered a lot of different pencils that day (I teach math) and these were my least favorite.

How do you know that you are authentic?

If you are asking if the pencils are authentic, then I believe they are.

Is the lead in these pencils colored or iis it just the pencil itself

Thank you for your inquiry. The graphite in these pencils are #2 soft, black. The barrel has the neon colors. I hope this helps.
