M-D Building Products 93245 4-Inch by 20-Feet Adhesive Back Vinyl WallBase, Silver Gray

When we unrolled this, it was "wavy"at the top thru entire roll. We left on floor with books for days, but didn't really help. My husband put up anyhow, thinking glue we bought would help it stay up, but it didn't. Within a few hours it was coming away from wall in many places. Also, because it was rolled, the little fold that is supposed to run along the bottom so it can attach to the floor, was pretty non existent. He tried to make the fold,but that didn't work out well either.Bottom line is this was the worst thing I ever bought online. Basically it stuck all along the center, where it was flat like it should be, but both top and bottom came off wall where it was wavy. We should have returned it as soon as we unrolled it, but I guess he thought the glue would help it to stick. Since we attempted to use it, we are out the $$. We had to remove it and go with something else. This is the first negative review I ever posted on something I bought online, but I want people to know what they could get- maybe we got two bad rolls- I don't know. On a positive note, it did arrive super quick

Only Positive is Color.I read and followed instructions I still had a negative outcome problems with application that I had to deal with. Negative 1) adhesive will not hold flat against wall, have to use additional adhesive across top edge. Adhesive is gooey but come off hands and scissors with " goo gone". 2) Had to use staple gun to hold against wall to allow adhesive to set. 3) Would not lay flat against wall even when set out for two days to flatten out, had ripple when set against wall.

Attempted to install on the lower wall as prescribed, it will not flatten out or stick all the way. It came in a busted package, the adhesive was all over the front but it cleaned off easily so I thought it would work, even if I had to add adhesive. It didn't work. Right now its stuck in a most unattractive lumpy wavy way to my wall and we will need to figure out how to fix it before thanksgiving. Perhaps a heat gun or blow dryer will soften the vinyl enough to lay it properly on the wall.

To say I’m disappointed is an understatement this box arrived with Greasy goop everywhere the backing it was missing from several sections at a time a sort of grease on the front that even dawn couldn’t get off. But I tried it anyways and the paper backing was so glopped everywhere it was sticking to the new flooring and the residue stuck on several tiles no clue how I’m going to clean this up. Just terrible and not buying from m this vendor again.

I was very disappointed not with MD but with the cove base I received. My flooring installer was not happy that the base appeared to have been left in a very hot place as the adhesive was melted and oozing out from between the backing paper. Everything was a sticky mess and the adhesion is questionable. I expect it will fail!

BUYER BEWARE, this stuff is USELESS. The adhesive backing is so weak I had to use Gorilla Glue construction adhesive just to get it to stick to the wall. Mind you it's sticky enough to rip the drywall paper off when you try to remove it but not sticky enough to ACTUALLY F'N WORK!

I purchased this to face a tub in a newly remodeled bath. Nice color but the glue is simply garbage. There is no glue up along the top line so it does not stick to the tub (and it wouldnt on a wall) but rather gaps with waves and separation. I will make it work with additional mastic .. but its very very poorly done.I do not recommend. Buy dry back and install your own mastic .. you are going to have to anyway with this produce.

Two complaints:1) The product is wrapped far too tightly for shipping and it's very hard to get out the wrinkles and folds. You'll have to lay this out for a for a few days in a sunny room to flatten it.2) The adhesive strips are too small, weak, and are poorly positioned.The sum of these two complaints is that to get a professional result, you will have to use an additional adhesive and/or staples (the latter will make the job look amateur, at best.)I would still buy again, but beware that you will have to do some extra work that you may not expect.
