Jamaica Cove Black Pineapple Spiced Rum

I've been looking for a banana rum that isn't too sweet, but still has a distinctive banana taste. This is the one. The banana flavour isn't overpowering, but adds a lovely extra dimension to the overall flavour. I'll definitely be buying this again!

If you like with cola buy this, it works well and gives a rewarding rich tasty long drink with strong pineapple aromas. If you like it short it’s too much, try Plantation Stiggins Fancy which is more balanced but pricey at £40 approx. Both of these led us to the (£20 approx) plain Plantation Dark Rum (not flavoured) as that works superbly long or short. This JC pineapple is great with cola and surprises many who think they won’t like it, fair price when in offer too. Worth adding to the home bar!

I usually stick to (malt) whisky however thought I'd give this a try after I took a gamble on a banana flavour rum (which I was really impressed with) followed by an alternative brand pineapple rum (which I have to say was just slightly better - Lambs)Could be doing with a little bit more pineapple however a pleasant taste nonetheless.I'd definitely go for Lambs over this however I suppose it's down to individual taste. If you want to try something a little different that won't break the bank I'd stick this on the list🍍🍸

I was introduced to this in a small restaurant in Chester. A friend ordered rum and lemonade and the barman strongly recommended that this should be sipped neat, over ice. How right he was. The flavour is sublime and ever so smooth. If you are a rum aficionado then give this a shot. You won't regret it.

Beautiful bottle, excellent taste.I thought I'd make this last as I'm not a big rum drinker but I nailed it in a weekend.This is now my favourite drink and I can't wait to try it in cocktails as it is delicious enough served chilled with Coke.

Doesn’t taste anything like rum, no coffee comes through. Very disappointed

Decent rum which could be loved by many. I found it far too sweet (suggesting artificial sweeteners), with very strong pineapple flavour and some artificial aftertaste.
