Fair Trade Crooked White Wine Glass Pair 220ml [SU1]

I bought a pair of these for a friends birthday (he's a glass nerd?), as soon as they arrived i orderd two more for myself, they are wonderful. Well made and strong yet still graceful and very different, i also love the fair trade and recycling element of the items it helps me feel a little smug while getting merry.I got two of the red wine glasses and whiskey tumblers as well and will keep going until i have half a dozen of each (If they stay in stock that long)

I've just taken delivery of my glasses! They're cute! I love that they're recycled and Fair Trade, and this being a gift for my sister-in-law, she will appreciate that even if the glasses aren't totally her choice of shape. Having read the reviews carefully before I placed the order, I'd like to agree with one of the reviewers that they ARE quite small and, given a choice, I'd have preferred them about 5cm taller (which is the only reason I haven't marked them higher). I also managed to be dopey enough to misunderstand that the box has TWO glasses in so have received 2 boxes and a total of 4 glasses, which is pretty embarrassing but works in my favour as I'm going to ask my husband to pass them on to my mum-in-law to give back to me for Christmas! RESULT! Inadvertantly fell in love with someone else's present but have enough for me: YAY

Love these. Used to like dropping off our empty wine bottles to the factory when we lived in Swaziland and watching the glass blowers do their work and then a visit to the shop to get glasses. Green & good for the local economy. This design was always my favourite. Unfortunately I am extremely clumsy so I break several a year ... so great I can just get them in the UK rather than having to fly to Swaziland!

Very pleased with this item,good talking point because of thier unusual shape,only downside was price,but my choice to pay it.

Love these wine glasses. They are an unusual but are very stable.

Liked them except one glass was broken

Ngwenya glass are items made out of recycled glass. They are truly unique. The craftsmanship is excellent. I would definitely recommend ngwenya glass if you want a unique gift.
