Older model at decent price - dependable, reasonable setup,
My 15 year old Samsung finally was too much trouble. I got my wife this model 2 years ago. I bought the identical model when I needed a new one. Wireless works well.

AWFUL, and I'm usually a big fan of Brother products
I have been a fan of Brother products since the late 1980s. I have had this for about 2 1/2 years and I can attest this printer has wasted countless hours of my time because of connectivity. DO NOT BUY. BUY SOMETHING ELSE. I literally have lost days of my life dealing with this unreliable device. It is awful. All the trouble shooting and "fix" features cannot help me keep a reliable connection to this printer. I'm going to throw it in the trash. I REGRET BUYING IT.

NO ETHERNET PORT!

Absolutely worthless!
This absolutely worthless POS is the WORST printer I’ve ever purchased. Connectivity is a joke! Their tech is pure garbage. I’m NEVER buying another Brother printer EVER again.

A REAL WORKHORSE!!!
I absolutely love this printer! It's wireless, does duplexing, AirPrints, and is fast! I dont know what these other guys are talking about. I think this printer is fantastic!!! and I bought it a few years ago for $89.00 on Amazon! There may be a newer version of this model. If there is, get it!!!!

dont buy anything from brother!!!
impossible to set up. had to have a tech guy in who spent hours on the phone with their tech people and cost 150 to set it up. a week later it went "offline" called tech support at brother and got it working in an hour but said it would go bad again. He said he could fix it with a three month guarantee for $150. who are they kidding?
