Excellent
Great chair if you have to work on a desk all day!

Assembly could be difficult, support is horrible. Don't buy this one.
Assembly requires a table to lay the chair upside down on and a better tool than they provide. You'll need more force than their little tool can give you. Also, trying to attach the headrest to the chair can be massively frustrating. I tried to line up the holes on the headrest horizontal bar with the holes on the chair. It's almost impossible to see if they're aligned. Then, the instructions say hammer gently, but that is impossible. I had to hammer so hard that the pin broke. I called them and the first person was rude and said she couldn't understand how the pin broke. She told me to email them, which I did. After no response for five days, I called back. Fortunately, I got someone other than the sassy person I talked to five days earlier. She sent out another horizontal bar and pins. I had to take the headrest off the original horizontal bar and attach it to the new one. There are no instructions on how to do that, even though I asked for them numerous times on the phone and on email. I then had to hammer as hard as possible to get the pins through the chair holes. Turns out the holes on the other end weren't aligned, but there is no way to see that either. It holds OK, but the instructions are extremely poor and misleading. The support is not good either. It's a comfortable chair, but probably best to check on support and returns before you order one. I would not order this one again, based on my experience.

6'6" Comfort
I was concerned about spending this much on a chair that I couldn't find much mention of people my height, but after doing some product research and finding the adjustability ranges and what I need to fit my body, I decided to pull the trigger. I'm glad I did because there is more than enough adjustability to suit my body, I am primarily going to be using this chair for gaming, I never find myself sitting for more than a few hours at a time, but I could see sitting in this chair for extended periods.one thing to note, while I am 6'6" I'm a lot of leg and the back height is maxed out, I could see those with longer torsos not finding this chair as comfortable and the top of the frame for the back would rub into your shoulders, but for me it works great.Side note my partner who is 5'2" cant reach the floor when it is lowered all the way, but again everyone's body is different.

Great to sit in. Not great to use as an office chair.
I purchased the Ergohuman chair to replace an 8 year old Lorell LLR86205 chair. The Lorell was in great shape except the padding on one of the arms was cracked from my misuse. My son wanted a chair without arms so I upgraded. The Ergohuman is too tall to work as an office chair for my normal height desk. It felt like I was working at a coffee table. I raised the table and built a footrest and now it is bearable.Next problem is the arms. They adjust in every direction except to move them closer to you while seated. Any time you touch them they move and need to be readjusted. They feel like they will break in a month or two.Final problem is the angle of the back. Absolutely no back support unless you are leaning back. Not the normal position for working at a desk.I will try it for a couple of days and may return it and get another Lorell. If the Lorell costs around 150, I would say the value of the Ergohuman is about half that for someone who needs a chair to work at a desk.

Nice chair, but poor documentation
Very comfortable chair. I still need time to find the right fit, and it’s possible the lumbar pad is not quite getting where I need it to be, but I found that shifting the seat forward helps with that. I’m 6’1”.A note on assembly. Not great. The main instructions were stuffed in the mechanism of the bottom of the seat cushion, so I scrambled around looking for them for a while, thinking I was stuck with no instructions. I did have a separate booklet for the headrest (more on that in a moment). The main instructions are ok, and I appreciate that they warn you about things to be mindful of, like which spot to put the shorter and longer screws in for the arm rests. But, they talk about using screw J to attach the seat back to the base, and warn you to be sure to use the right screw, Screw J, a second time, so it’s clearly important, right? Well, there is no Screw J. The screws are labeled A, B and C. Turns out, J is C. Luckily, there’s also a name for the screw, so I figured it out. But this is a critical screw because the seat would be a stool without these screws since the back wouldn’t actually attach to the base.Lastly, the headrest. Terrible design. It’s hard to know if it’s really seated or not, and hard to tap into place, as they tell you to do, because of the curved, hard frame. Then they want you to hammer 2 pins into the frame to connect it. Problem is, the holes are too small to get the pins in (and they’re not all the same size). I don’t know why it’s designed this way. They could have used screws, or perhaps a compression pin that snaps into the locked position. I left the pins out, hoping the thing doesn’t fall off one day when I’m resting my head, but we shall see.Lastly, there are no operating instructions. That’s not the end of the world since, you know, it’s a chair, but the adjustments aren’t all intuitive. Like the arm rests, which have a ratchet mechanism that isn’t clear how to engage to get them back down. And you have to raise them all the way to get them back down (all the way, only), and then you raise them up again, click by click, to the spot you want. No release buttons, so it’s not totally clear how to do it. Same with the seat cushion fore and aft adjustment. I see how to unlock it, but can’t consistently get it to move, which makes it hard to get to the right adjustment since it doesn’t always move when you think it will, and then suddenly will when you don’t expect it to. I’d love some clarity on this.Otherwise, it’s pretty straight forward, and comfortable. Just kinda sloppy from the user experience standpoint for something closing in a thousand dollars.
