This camera comes with a temporary wifi connection, you have to use this test wifi to setup the camera, but alot of people think that is the permanent wifi you use and that's where alot of the complaints are coming from, if you only use the test wifi you won't be able to use it remotely you have to go into settings and configure your home wifi to get it too work remotely, and you have to leave it plugged in our the battery doesn't last long, you can switch the hertz to 60 instead of 50 to keep it cooler, if you do all of this it works great

Even on low sensitivity, motion detector goes on all day, constant app alerts and nobody in the room. However when I get home and open door the motion detector does NOT go on. Picture quality is good, infrared is good. Overall I should have returned it but now it’s 3days past returnable date. Without motion detector working properly it was a waste of money. UPDATE - only use this for weekends and eight months since purchasing it no longer works! WASTE of money!

The PNZEO W3 arrived quickly. The first problem was that the instruction booklet was almost indecipherable because of poor descriptions of what the setup procedures were and very poor english. There is also no help on the internet with troubleshooting. After a few days I was able to get through the setup using my computer. A QR code reader was necessary to decipher the P2P UID because of the extremely small print. Then the device did not work. Lights came on, but no video was generated. When help was requested, there was absolutely no response.UPDATE: After a few days, support responded via Email. Turns out that setup has to be done with a smart phone, and then a PC can access the camera video. Setup still took several back-and-forths. I increased the rating from one star to three stars due to the setup difficulty and the poor written setup instructions. I have not had a chance to try the IR feature or the motion detection feature.

Instructions were a little tedious, but accurate.Once setup was completed, the quality is excellent. There are many settings not mentioned in the instructions. A significant setting is the frequency setting. It is defaulted to 50 Hz. If you don’t toggle this to 60 HZ, it will likely overheat the device. I read a lot of reviews where people were complaining about the overheating and that was probably the reason why. Check all of your settings!

This little camera is pretty impressive. The picture quality is fantastic, and mine stays connected to WiFi just fine.. the worst things about the camera are the battery life and the TERRIBLE instructions on how to get it set up and connected to WiFi. I almost returned the camera bc I couldn't figure it out, and the instructions are written in terrible English. Just as I was about to give up, I figured it out. **NOTE- The camera has its own "test wifi" connection used for set up. You have to connect to the cameras wifi network FIRST which is usually "MTC-......" Then once it's you're connected to the camera, you go into settings on the app and change the network to your home network and you're goood to go.All in all, I'm very happy with the purchase for the price.

This camera is garbage. The wifi is weak - you pretty much need to be next to the camera to see what’s happening. You have to be on the same wifi as the camera to view - the battery is garbage. 10 mins of battery time, tops. I had to plug in a rechargeable battery, which makes it hard to conceal. And then the camera lasted maybe 45 mins. The set up was nearly impossible and the app is terrible. Please buy something else.

PROit is small, size like a USBCONFully charged then used, less than 5-10 minutes the battery is half.We tried to test it indoors and on the sleeping kids, just to see how long the battery will last. Didn’t last 30 minutes. We finally got it working on the iPad and that’s one of the samples.You’ll have to figure things out on your own, there were features we had to learn to do and not on the small instruction booklet.OTHER NOTESThe software seems made for an android phone and not for an iPad. The features to modify and etc were easily evident in our phone vs when we finally (after awhile) got it working in the iPad which was where we initially wanted to use it on to watch the bird outside the window for our kids to see, since they rattle the birds off the feeder when they start waving their hands.Unsure if pro or con, if someone were to use this and not want to be noticed, the red blinking light on the gadget can be turned off from the phone.So we tried to use it on simultaneous gadgets, it did work. Once you change the setting on one (like flipping screen) then it does it for all the screens.

Greatest bang for the buck in a WiFi cam I've ever seen - and I've seen a few. I use it aboard my n-scale railroad, where I can send back live images from a moving flatcar. Size of a BIC lighter, but loaded with everything, including full-on IR night vision! Yup - it can be set either as a local wireless WiFi cam, or can be addressed remotely an IP address anywhere on Earth (security issues, but all have them). At the offered price, you won't easily find a more compact or full features micro cam!!!
