The OneBlade Core is a Single Edge Razor that shares the same design profile as the OneBlade Genesis Razor. The Genesis is made entirely from stainless steel, the Core is made from engineer-grade Tritan Polymer, to give the razor the weight and balance needed, the handle has a core rod insert made from stainless steel - hence the name Core. The Core uses Feather FHS-10 Hi-Stainless Spineless Single Edge Blades , these are approximately twice the thickness of a standard safety razor blade. This additional thickness delivers a shave similar to that from a cut throat razor but without the risks. Blades are easy to insert, no need to take anything apart, slide in a blade until it clicks into place. The Core has a pivoting head which works in a similar way to a modern-day Gillette Mach3/Fusion cartridge blade, this helps to negate cuts due to poor technique and pressing too hard when shaving.
