Ecco ECCO XPEDITION III, Men’s Low Rise Hiking Shoes

I've only had these for about 3 months but I've probably walked the best part of 200 miles in them (all on pavement) and they are very comfortable and feel very solid.They are a little large because I often buy UK 8.5 but that size wasn't available.That said, as mentioned I am very happy with the purchase and am happy to recommend them.I haven't used this brand before but I am a convert on the strength of their performance so far.

A good well made shoe, from good material. I bought these to walk the dog they are comfortable and look okay when i go into a pub with the dog. would highly recommend for the price

These shoes are well made, comfortable and good looking - ideal for walking or hiking. The fit is excellent - size 9.5-10 is actually a European size 44. I take size 9.5 in shoes and these fit well with thick hiking socks. I cannot rate them as 5-star yet, because it will take time to see how well they last on rough tracks and if they are fully waterproof in thicker, wet vegetation.

My husband has worn these lots over the past 6 months and he absolutely loves them. Keeps telling me how comfy they are. They look good and seem durable.

I use these shoes for low level walking, for me they are first class in terms of comfort and quality and they accommodate my wide feet perfectly. I just hope they keep making them.

I got these as a general-purpose shoe for travelling, light hiking and everyday use around town, mostly because they looked smarter than all other comparable shoes that I could find; most make you look like a scruffy backpacker or a serious trekker, so you can't really wear them at smart-casual occasions.They do seem well-made and look pretty good, and are lighter than they look. However, they are very big for the size, both the length and the width: an 8 is more like an 8.5 or even 9 in other brands. There is virtually no arch support either, and the soles are much harder than standard walking shoes or trainers/approach shoes, so they do not feel as comfortable. To solve both the problems I got some soft insoles to put under my orthotics. However, the size 8 insoles were too small so my toes overlap the edges, giving me blisters. Also, soft insoles cause the foot to roll, which gave me ankle pain. I am currently wearing them with thick socks, no insole, and pieces of cardboard under my orthotics to improve arch support. Hardly an ideal situation.For some reason that I can't figure out, my toes are also much colder in these shoes than in others. To be sure it wasn't my imagination, I tested this by wearing one of my old ones (Teva Kimtah Event Mesh) on one foot and an Ecco on the other. Even with thick merino socks on, the foot with the Ecco was cold, even in fairly mild weather. Yet they also feel quite hot in warm weather (though I haven't compared this directly to other shoes).The temperature issue might just be me, but I'm pretty sure the sizing isn't, so if you are between sizes I would suggest ordering the next one down.

I bought these for my husband as he was starting to suffer from sore ankles, feet and hips... (We're a bit older and wiser now and realised he'd had his current saloman shoes for over a year) so these were an early Christmas present.Within a few days all his aches were gone. They're a great fit, very comfortable with great support that you don't realise is there. They're a lot dearer than some other shoe and trainer brands, but worth every penny... We've bought these before and we'll be buying them again!(my dad swears by them too!)

These ecco walking shoes are excellent and fit like a glove,no need to break them in,would highly recommended these shoes.

Très bien comme chaussure de marche

Questa è una scarpa da outdoor, quindi abbastanza rigida, impermeabile, rivestita esternamente di pelle selezionata e morbida ma con struttura consistente, all’interno il goretex che la rende impermeabile ma, la sorpresa è stata la soletta di generazione avanzata che assorbe completamente il sudore del piede lasciandolo asciutto anche in camminate impegnative. Definirei questa scarpa come la migliore compagna per le uscite su strade dissestate. Il piede e la gamba rimangono rilassati e riposati anche se sottoposti a terreni sconnessi. Molto bene, Ecco non mi delude mai, e di scarpe anche blasonate, ne ho provate molte, resta inarrivabile. Su Amazon, non è una novità ottimo service.

He probado las botas semanas en el campo, montaña y corriendo, las he llenado de barro, lluvia, polvo.. Se limpian fácil, siguen como nuevas, son super cómodas y personalmente me parece más ergonomía y agilidad al ser bajas de tobillo. Pedí un 47 EU ya que soy de pies grandes y me quedan perfectas, ni roces ni dolores, comodidad que hasta me la pongo para realizar viajes o salir a la calle a veces. Las recomiendo 100%.

I am a dedicated ECCO customer. These shoes have all of the things I need when I go hiking. I am used to putting on a brand new pair and have them fit comfortably right out of the box. This pair however had a two day break in period but thereafter was perfect. I initially had an issue where the tongue was doubled up against the inside of the shoe. It was pushing up against he bottom of my ankle on both the inside & outside. I had to work it back and forth to make the fold smaller. After a couple days, I have had no further issues. I wear a 9.5 and this 43 fit in both the width & length.
