Frank Miller's Complete Sin City Library Paperback – August 1, 2005

If you've already seen the movie, it is no wonder that they could use the artwork as storyboard for the movie. It has a uniquely noir look and feel. The art is crisp and has energy and each frame could be blown up into to a wall poster.For those who don't know, most of the books are in black-and-white with some splashes of color. The movie was black-and-greys with some splashes of color.The set is a great deal, cheaper than buying them individually. If you are a real collector, you can go for the Sin City Library Collection I and II which is hardcover, oversized, and on higher quality paper. But for a heafty price. If you just want to savor the series, then buy this version instead.

I was a fan of the movie and wanted to get a flavor of the source material. I'm glad I did. Very entertaining and thought provoking. And the more I read, the more impressed I am at how faithfully the movie translated the story and feel into the movie. Can't wait for the next one!

A cheap but excellent edition. I'm glad to have Sin City comics in one complete collection in a very good price if purchased as a collection. Good quality paperback covers and the internal paper and printing are very good. This 7 books are a must and have them in such a good price, what more can you ask for?

After watching Sin City, I had to get the complete set. It made the best holiday gift set for my best friend.

It is a lot cheaper if you buy each book seperatly off Amazon. I paid around ninety for all seven with free shipping.

超絶傑作映画「シン・シティー」の原作コミックシリーズの全七巻勢揃いセット。１巻から７巻までを順に並べると、映画にもでてくるNancyのクールな絵姿になる（２巻目の８３ページの絵と同じ）。映画は１巻，３巻，４巻からのエピソードが中心だが、他の巻にも、映画の登場人物たちが現れ、彼らをより深く知ることができる。映画版と比較すると、映画の方がより洗練されていて、コミックの方がより大胆でダイナミックな印象を受ける。いずれにしても、圧倒的な作品であることには変わりがない。映画と同じく、パート・カラーの手法が効果的に用いられている。映画で観客を（少なくとも私を）魅了した冒頭のエピソードは、第６巻のBooze, Broads,&Bulletsに納められている。ちなみにこの巻はショート・ストーリー集として構成されている。

The only thing that didn't meet my expectation was that it didn't come as a box set with a holder for the books, because I was buying the whole set I thought it would, however this may have been my fault for not reading exactly what I was buying to start with.
