Really strong magnets, easily shattered!
We have wide wooden drawers that when loaded won't stay shut so (rather than replace the runners with something heavier duty) I thought I'd get these to place inside the drawer and frame to hold them closed. Before sticking them permanently I tried them out (the metal runners temporarily positioned them) and they worked exactly as hoped. However, then my husband decided to see how near together they had to be to pull towards each other and placed them on a counter top in 2 groups of 3 - they pulled together so hard that they shattered into many pieces! So be careful!! I will certainly re-order but this time not let my husband near them.

VERY strong!!!
They're very strong, just like everyone says. I bought them to hold a small calendar on my fridge, and they're perfect for that. The calendar flips through the months with a metal coil hinge/binder, and through the coil is a thin metal rod with a dent/curve at the center, so that you can hook the curve over a nail to hang the calendar. Well, my first idea was to just hold the calendar in place near the top of the calendar though the paper, but since these magnets are so strong, of course it was attracted to the metal coil and rod. So, as it turned out, all I had to do was just put the magnet strait on the fridge, and then magically put the calendar's thin rod thing directly on the magnet --and it held. Now, to flip to a new month with my calendar, all I have to do is pull off the calendar, flip to the next month, and return the calendar to the magnet --so easy!!! In the past I had to remove four weaker magnets I had holding the calendar. These magnets are so much better!!! I have the rest (five remaining) stacked together, also on my fridge, and they hold a pair of curved embroidery scissors which I keep handy on the fridge, for removing loose threads and cutting off labels of cloth items deep into the seam. Stacking the magnets five deep like that works well to keep the curved pointed tip of the scissors from digging into and scratching the fridge when I remove the scissors from the magnet. So, that wiped out my entire pack of six magnets for those two purposes, but these are such great magnets that I'm contemplating buying more for other uses. I also like how they look so much nicer on my fridge than the big black magnets I used to have, since these ones are smaller and prettier with their shininess. On the fridge, they have a minimal aesthetic, and match well with my other stainless steel "pushpin" magnets. I highly recommend these workhorses which every household needs!!!

Strong magnets
Used this to hang up my metal pen holder and it stuck with no problem. Would recommend! Removal was easy and great magnitude. Size is convenient and amazingly it holds a good amount of weight.

Not Strong Neodymium Magnets - Not "18 lbs" Pull - Weak Attractive Property
These are not thin despite the other reviews with a negative rating. I think they're pretty satisfactory regarding the size. The magnets come with a set of separate adhesive strips. I do not use the strips but some of the reviews attest to these strips being too weak. I already have a roll of Gorilla Glue adhesive rubber tape that is rated for 100+lbs, so there's that. No rating for the adhesive so, be warned if you do intend to use the strips you're on your own. The magnets are well over 1/8th" thick at least 3/16ths" and seem pretty robust to me. These are weak fridge magnets and much weaker than a 3/8" thick, 2"x 1" ceramic magnet, I tested them side-by-side, very disappointingly weak - definitely these are not neodymium. They have a sheath metal plating that resembles neodymium and by appearance they look exactly like a neodymium magnet but without the magnetism. You might be able to use these as a weak fridge magnet for what it's worth. But if these are tried for any serious magnet application I suggest going elsewhere. The description says "18 lbs" and these are not even 18 ounces of pull to them. More like 1.8 ounce if you're lucky. HOWEVER THESE ARE NOT NEODYMIUM - THEY APPEAR TO BE NEODYMIUM BUT HAVE WEAK MAGNETISM. I have a set of ceramic magnets and they are stronger than these. Ridiculously weak, weaker than ceramic. I have many different neodymium magnets with the unusually strong magnetism THEY ARE NOT NEODYMIUM THEY ARE WEAK WEAK WEAK. DO NOT BUY IF YOU WANT NEODYMIUM. For my usage I would NOT recommend them to anyone else, they're NOT the strong neodymium magnets; don't buy them if you need neodymium.

Kind of weak
These MIKEDE magnets are okay for basic stuff like sticking notes or small items on the fridge. Theyโre pretty strong, but not as โheavy-dutyโ as I expected. The adhesive works, but it doesnโt always stay put on every surface. Size is handy, just a bit thinner than I thought. Not bad overall, just donโt expect super strong hold for heavier things.

Strong
I recently had the opportunity to try out the strong bar magnets and I must say, I am thoroughly impressed. These magnets are made of the strongest magnetic material, which ensures they meet even the most demanding requirements. One of the standout features of these bar magnets is their incredible holding power. With a holding power of not less than 18 lbs per magnet with direct touch and direct pull, they provide a level of strength and stability that is truly remarkable. Whether you're using them for industrial applications, DIY projects, or simply organizing your space, these magnets will not disappoint. I found the build quality of these magnets to be exceptional. They are sturdy and well-crafted, which gives me confidence that they will withstand the test of time. The magnets themselves have a sleek, unobtrusive design that blends seamlessly into any environment. What I appreciate most about these strong bar magnets is their versatility. They can be used for a wide range of applications, including securing tools, holding up heavy objects, or even creating magnetic displays. The possibilities are endless, and I've found myself reaching for these magnets time and time again. Furthermore, the magnets are incredibly easy to use. Their strong holding power ensures a secure grip, and their compact size allows for convenient placement in various settings. Additionally, their smooth surface prevents any scratching or damage to the objects they come into contact with. In conclusion, I highly recommend the strong bar magnets from your company. Their exceptional holding power, durable construction, and versatility make them an excellent choice for anyone in need of reliable magnetic solutions. Whether you're a professional or a DIY enthusiast, these magnets will undoubtedly exceed your expectations.

Unbelievably powerful Magnets!
Very powerful magnets. Be careful, can pinch hard! Can destroy phones and other devices, so be careful. I tried playing with them and got pinched so hard so many times I gave up playing with them. They can break your fingernails trying to pry them off flat surfaces. If you plan to let them stick to something make sure you put a way to get the back off again. Once they clamp on they are on!

Strength vs Size
These are strong magnets. VERY strong. And that's exactly what I needed. But they are also rather thin for their size. I needed them to secure a metal sewing tool to the side of a metal filing cabinet. They did that job wonderfully. But when I needed to relocate the sewing tool, the two magnets that I was using both broke in half when I tried to move them. At first I thought perhaps I handled them wrong. But as I continued to try to relocate them, I realized that there was no other choice but to manhandle them because of their extreme magnetic strength. I also shared a couple of my magnets with a friend who had the same task of securing her own sewing tool to a metal object. She too experienced the same issue of breaking the magnets in 2 when she had to relocate them. The good news is that we are still able to use the magnets. We are just using 4 'pieces' instead of the original 2 bars. I will say that I am impressed with the strength of these magnets. If you need something small but super magnetic, these are definitely what you are looking for. Just plan ahead and try to put them in their final destination the first time so that you do not have to try to relocate them. But if you need something less permanent where you may need to relocate the magnets, you may want to find something thicker that can handle being moved without breaking.

Very strong albeit fragile magnets. Used in the resistance break of an old elliptical machine.
Lightweight, compact, and impressively strong for their size, but also relatively fragile. As advised by many other reviewers, these are highly susceptible to cracking or chipping. However, this is not unusual for magnets of this type. I can see how some people have experienced them snapping altogether. As they're not very thick or dense, they need to be handled carefully. SLIDE them apart from each other. Don't pull them off directly, especially not by the ends. Be just as cautious when adjusting them on whatever surface they've been placed. I've managed to keep all of them intact despite some minor chipping on the corners and edges of a few of them. But in my case, the breakage of tiny pieces is due primarily to their application and repeated adjustments before finalizing their placements. I've used them to supplement the resistance inside an old elliptical trainer for which I can no longer find a replacement console. As I can no longer control the resistance electronically, to compensate, I've stacked these bars along the inside of the existing break assembly, and with some experimentation, I've been able to to get about 70-80% of the maximum resistance I'd normally get without taking apart any of the mechanism, cutting cables, or forcing any contact with the main flywheel. And that's just with ONE set of these magnets. I could potentially go over 100% of the original maximum by adding a second set. In essence, I've prolonged the lifespan of my machine and saved myself hundreds of dollars. I no longer have real-time control or dynamic programming, but I'm okay with the semi-permanent, medium-difficulty setting. Anything else, I can track on my smart watch.

strong pull
Magnet has strong pull power. a little fragile. breaks if mishandled.

Too strong for intended purpose
Magnets are small but STRONG! The adhesive strips included are not strong enough to attach magnet to anything else - using for cupboards etc proves useless. Love the magnets but they require a stronger bonding agent to keep them apart

Strong magnet
I meant this for some magnet hooks I purchased separate that weren't very big to hang my house keys. The magnets are strong (albeit maybe smaller than I imagined and/or didn't read the description close enough), but any weight with the double-sided tape didn't hold from a clean and dry surface, I'm just going to pick up some 3M tape and win that way
