Worth it for taking or teaching dance classes from home!
Afte experimenting with various surfaces from the hardware store for online classes in my bedroom studio, I treated myself to to this . It took extra duty fees to get it in Canada, but from day one my turns are better and my knees happier. I use it with thin sheet of plywood and a layer of foam floor underlay (from the hardware store). Recommend the grey side up because it's harder for teachers to see you feet on a webcam if your shoes are black. Check the slip/grip quotient for your dance style, but I do flamenco and am really happy with this surface.

Works well for Irish dance
So far, so good. My daughter uses this over our tile floors for her hard shoes in Irish dance. We don't tape it down as it's in the middle of the living room. I'm not sure how it would do over tile with wide grout lines--ours are very thin, so it works well. She's 12, and can roll it up and put it back in the shipping tube by herself easily. We have the 6x8 and it's enough room for her to practice. It took 12 days from placing the order until it arrived.
