I've had a tenor uke for awhile and just finished a uke course on it. It's great, sounds awesome, but I have fairly small hands, and my left pinkie is pretty weak, so I have some trouble getting the ringing tones I want on the strings.I bought this ammoon portable uke (with case) because I am going to be traveling for about a month and I don't want to forget what I learned in my course. It just arrived yesterday, but already I am in love with it. All the laser engraved notes and the chords on the back are awesome, and it sounds good too. Best of all, my fingers easily span the neck and I have plenty of strength to press the strings to get clear, ringing tones! I love it. It's so fun -- I WANT to play it every chance I get!I just ordered a Kindfolk yoga mat duffel so I can carry the cased uke on the plane (in the case, the uke is exactly the same length as a rolled up yoga mat), along with a few other items. Now I just have to figure out some kind of strap for it. But it really is a nicely made instrument, super light, fun to play, and perfect for small hands!

I do have a Kala Travel Soprano Ukulele and wanted to upgrade to a concert ukulele. I am very happy with the choice I made. It's thin, light and beautiful and plays as good as my Kala ukulele. I posted pictures for size comparison. Once you tune it, it seems to stay tuned forever. I love it and simply can't put it down since I received it. And I love my little Kala too. I keep playing one song on one and then on the other one and again back to first....

Hello!I am reviewing the Ammoon 23 in/inch Uke Acoustic Concert Ukulele made from Mahogany Wood which I received today. It took about 4 days from order to delivery. It makes a good beginner Ukelele for kids especially given a small size. It's about an arm's length and easy and portable. The good thing about this product is that it has inscribed chords at the back and also the frets have inscribed notes which is useful while you are playing or learning to play as a beginner. It sounds good and is safe for kids. Made of wood and well made. Given the rectangular shape of the makes it a little tricky to hold but once you are used to I think it would be a problem.3.5/5 stars overall. I am happy with the purchase and would recommend if you are looking to buy someone a gift this ukelele makes a good gift. sounds very much closer to the full-sized ones.Prafulla Bhagat

This is a great size for easy travel & the case is slim & well-structured - secure protective padded walls that hold their shape, not just a flimsy gig bag. Big sound for such a small instrument, & the built-in chord chart is fabulous! I would recommend this for beginners (allow time for the strings to settle in & hold tune, or change them out completely, better can be had for a low price) & for more advanced players who want to learn more about shifting chords to other positions - the string pitch showing at each fret is enormously helpful!!

This model is perfect for beginners specially. It is well made, the sound is ok, good for practice privately, considering the long, and also narrow shape. The notes and the engraved chords are a plus for students of all ages.

It's small, no doubt. But the sound is decent after a string change (Aquilla red series). Kinda sharp and twangy but not in a displeasing way. VERY portable and the chords lasered on the back are indispensable for a beginner like me. Would recommend unreservedly.

Terrific craftsmanship, solid instrument. Came with frets already sanded down. Nice, padded case. "Stick" shape means it can fit anywhere, I like to keep it near the couch for ease of use. Sound is mellow. Very comfortable to play as I'm a bit disabled.

I am so glad I made this purchase. Already have a ukulele but this caught my eye and was so reasonable in price I couldn't resist it. It's beautifully made, sounds great, stays in tune well, is very travel friendly, and has all the things you need to know about notes and chords right at your fingertips. I highly recommend to anyone on the fence about wanting a ukulele to learn on, or, like me, just love another pretty little ukulele for the collection!
