I was given this item as a gift. I have used it a few times and am just waiting to see about regrowth before I form a final opinion but it's not an easy item to use for one very simple reason, and that is because the cord is not long enough.If your plugs aren't at counter top height, as they don't tend to be in the UK the strain on the cord pulls the plug out of the machine every time you move, and so you have to plug it back in again, switch it on again, and wait for it to warm up again.Every time I stand to use it, the plug comes out of the base, so I have to either sit on the floor where it's dark, and then put on dark glasses so I have to use it by feel (I have to take of prescription glasses to put on the dark glasses supplied so can see even less). If the cord were a couple of feet longer, it would be infinitely easier to use. A minimally expensive change for the manufacturer but a world of difference to the user.
