Colibri Tranzpack TSA and DOT Approved Airline Lighter Case

NOWHERE DID IT STATE HOW BIG THIS THING REALLY IS !!!!Seriously !! I DID NOT expect it to be the size of a beer can( almost ! ) !!Wish I would have read ALL the reviews because It does say in the D.O.T report that it expires in March 2012 as another reviewer stated.It all says that this thing was accepted for checked baggage but I think for carry on it will still be O.K. Hope I am not wrong or I just blew about 20 bucks to not take my lighter with me. The unit itself is pretty tough though and I know I can find alternate uses for it.Also: ALL the stickers that WERE on it were just hanging out in the bag.So it was old or it was stored somewhere VERY HOT! It really SHOULD STATE SOMEWHERE(seller,site or on the unit that it did expire........Just sayin....

The unit is well-built however, all the stickers were off and the tip of the case where you hang the strap was broken. I hope this works in Sept when I'm flying with a torch lighter and cigars. We shall see.

DOT required but expensive

I purchased this lighter case because I got tired of having to leave my favorite lighterhome because the government won't allow you to carry on those type of devices anymore.To prevent any confusion on their part, this is an excellent way to transport my lighterand be mindful of the safety and security issues associated with air travel.

Dang this lighter case is sturdy. I imagine you could run it over with a truck and it wouldn't hurt it one bit.

Product has performed as advertised. The mfg should ensure the labeling stays on package as I had to tape TSA message on holder to keep it from peeling off

GOT ME THROUGH TSA WITHOUT ANY GLITCHES. COMPACT, DIDN'T TAKE UP MUCH ROOM.

The DOT-SP14327 listed on the unit expired 31 March 2012. I therefore will not be attempting to use on any flight.
