Well Worth it and highly recommend (same review as the Black, Medium Tip)
I'm posting the same review for the Black, Medium Tip because I bought one Black and one Blue refills each.I have been ordering from amazon the original Livescribe ink refills since 2009. Just now checked my order history and have ordered 9 or more so far. But unfortunately, the quality has deteriorated over time. Not sure if it's because these inks have dried sitting in the warehouse. But for the ones I ordered in Nov 2013, each ink could not even give me 5 pages worth of smooth writing and the ink would come out intermittently. Then I stumbled upon these generic ones. Seeing the positive reviews and the Seller actually answered reviews / comments about the guarantee, and also the fact that they are only a little more than than original ones, I went ahead and ordered a Black ink refill and a Blue ink refill.I couldn't be happier. First I tried each ink when I got them to make sure each wrote smoothly. Now I have just finished using the first Black ink refill and it gave me a total of 52 pages of writing on an A5 Notebook.Yes, the other comments about the ink seems a bit "loose" is true but it doesn't bother me. The ink come out smoothly and at the 52nd page of writing before the ink finally ran out, it was still writing as smoothly as the first page and the ink stroke is as dark and thick as the first stroke. From now on, I'm sticking with these generic refills - who says generic is not as good as the name brands?

Very smooth & no splotching
For some reason, these write so much smoother than the black ink refills I just got. It's bad enough that the pen is thick and takes practice getting used to; I don't want ink that splotches or skips.Anyone who has used the Echo pen for a while knows that the different brands of ink refills don't all write the same. I've just tried some black ink refills from another brand. I thought they were okay until I wrote with this brand. The writing is smoother which, for some crazy reason, is super important to me when I am writing fiction. If the pen skips a lot or feels gritty while I am writing, it bugs me to distraction.

Works great!
These refill work really well and they even sent me a sample of a different color. Will buy from again!

Smooth writing but diameter is slightly small to fit Echo pen securely.
These refills definitely write more smoothly than the Livescribe OEM refills. Only drawback I've found is that the diameter of the refill is slightly causing it move in the barrel of my Echo smart pen.To solve this, I wrapped clear tape around the refill where it fits into the pen and the fit is secure. This was not a performance problem but very distracting and annoying when writing. If not for that one issue, these would definitely be 5 Star refills!

Nice Ink
Very smooth and so far no skipping like my last batch of Livescribe ink. Fully compatible with my Livescribe Echo pen. Have not heard the 'rattle' some refer to. And if it develops I am sure I can stuff a little something in the chamber to alleviate it. I will buy again when these cartridges run out.

Great refill
These refills write better than the regular “brand” refills. The ink is much smoother. They came quickly!

Excellent replacement
While I'm still not sure what the deal is with those livescribe cartridges, I can say that these are a superior replacement. At current, the first one out of the pack has produced almost twice the pages of a single livescribe cartridge, with no horrible fading. I suppose it's possible for that to be some really fantastic beginners luck, but I would still strongly recommend them. Please be formally advised:The ink is blue on the particular set that I have (for which I presume this review applies), which may throw you for a loop if you have some terrible connection to the black ink.The cartridge itself is slightly thinner than the livescribe analogue, so that the blasted scratching/clicking problem becomes significantly worse. I leave it to you to engineer your own solution for that problem.
