Men's Cavalier Hydrophobic T-Shirt

The cut of this shirt is very slim. I ordered a XXXL and it's really equivalent to a XL. Unfortunately will have to return.

This shirt is the real deal. I have asked so many people to pour stuff on my shirt recently and it is wonderful.I saw that most people said the shirts fit a bit small so I ordered an XL and it fit pretty great so I would suggest you order a size up.Make sure that you don't go too hard on the shirt (I stained the first shirt I got and the wonderful Thread smith's sent me a replacement because of how fast I stained it) but truly an amazing product and would recommend you give it a try. Amazing customer service and amazing product.

shirts way undersized. quality seems nice but looks like they are only for young thin boys.

It looks interesting, but it is ridiculously small, I normally buy Xlarge tshirts and they fit loosely, this one although Xlarge is soo smal it will not be possible to wear, maybe my 11 year old son might be able to use it.

Ok so here's my take on this Hydrophobic shirt now that I've had sufficient time to wear it, wash it and test it out under many different circumstances. As many have already stated and I completely agree, the sizing is a bit off. I ordered large and it's very snug. It feels much like a slim fit shirt that hugs my body tightly. The length of the shirt is perfect for me (I'm 6') but it is really tight and should I order it again, I think I would actually go up a size larger. Also, as others have stated, the hydrophobic properties actually work well and is the main reason for my 4 star rating. It does seem to repel water and grease extremely well. A perfect example and the first real tough test of these properties - I was doing some garage work and accidentally got some dark grease on it. Having a white shirt I was really worried that it would not come out. Simply took it off, put it into the washing machine with no detergent and presto it came out clean. I've made it a habit not to put it into the dryer. I hang in my closet and find it's pretty dry by the next morning. I'm afraid that any heat may cause it to shrink and even a little more at this point and it would not fit me at all. However, I was shocked and quite surprised how easily the grease came out of this shirt and also how well it still looked after it was washed. This has now become my go to shirt for my dirty jobs!Now for the not so good. Right from the first wear, I really dislike the tag that is sewn into the bottom side of the shirt. It's not a soft flimsy tag. It's an annoying harsh, stiff feeling tag that have corners that jab at my skin, when I'm wearing it. In fact, this tag was so annoying to me that I tried carefully to remove it. And in doing so, I accidentally tore open a hole in the shirt where it was held on. Spent a few dollars to the tailor to get the hole fixed and now the shirt feels much better without that annoying tag. The second main area that could be improved is the collar at the neck. It's very thin and after washing a few times it seems like it's curling up and not in a good way. I don't know why it's doing this, but it's also annoying. The last thing that I wish could be improved is the Threadsmiths logo that is screen printed on the upper back of the shirt. I really wish they would have left this off and just kept the smaller tag on the sleeve. The sleeve tag is more classy looking in my opinion than the screen printed one on the back.Overall - I'm sure if you're considering this shirt, you'll be excited by the hydrophobic properties. Just make sure to order a size larger than you think you would need and if you hate annoying sharp washing instruction tag, be more careful than I was when you try to remove it.

not the same brand as the one in the picture. Decided to test how well it worked by pouring water on it, and wouldnt you know the water went right through it and drenched me. Garbage product. Any potential buyers should invest the money into a real product and not this.

This shirt worked perfectly, It also fit perfectly which I was worried about. Water just beads up and doesn't soak into the shirt its fantastic.

Got the biggest size (1 size larger than my boyfriend typically wears), and it was extremely form fitting. Which anyone who sweats a lot knows is not comfortable, regardless of how hydrophobic it is. I will say, the water repelling feature is pretty cool.
