This camera lasted exactly 15 months to the day. It was OK, video and audio quality were reasonable for the price: you’re not getting HD quality, but you can see your kid and determine what they’re doing easily, it functioned well in that regard. My issue is that over the last 6 months the video monitors battery has slowly crapped out, regardless of how often/long it’s attached the the charging cord the “cordless” feature only functions when it feels like it. You may get 10hrs off cord or you may get 10 min. The battery meter is inaccurate and not a measure of how long it will last. If you only ever intend to use it on the charger, great, it functions well for the money. If you need to move it from room to room (like a normal parent existing in their home..), it’s not guaranteed to work. If you only need it to work for a year, this is a great buy for the cost.. but if you’re looking for a long term solution you might be better spending the extra $50-100 now and not having to spend it twice, plus the difference in a year.

I’m really disappointed to be writing this because when these cameras work, I actually like them. This is not my first experience with VTech cameras, and unfortunately, it’s been a pattern. I got my first VTech camera back in 2020, and within about a year, I had to replace it due to issues. I purchased a second one shortly after and ended up having the same problem again. To their credit, VTech was great about replacing the cameras at the time, but the fact that I kept running into the same issue was frustrating. A few years later, I decided to give the brand another chance because I do prefer a system with a parent unit rather than relying on Wi-Fi and my phone. I purchased this current system in December, and now it’s April. One of the two cameras connected to the parent unit constantly freezes. I have reset it multiple times, and while it may work temporarily, it starts freezing again within 24 hours. The second camera is fine (for now), but this ongoing issue with the first one is incredibly frustrating. I do plan on contacting VTech again about this camera, but at this point, I could not in good faith recommend these cameras to anyone else. Reliability is the most important thing in a baby monitor, and this just hasn’t delivered.

THERES A LOT OF INTERFERENCE WITH CONNECTIVITY, MY HOUSE IS NOT BIG AND THERE ALWAYS ISSUES WITH IT. ALSO THE BACK KICKSTAND BROKE SO I REACHED OUT TO WARRANTY BECAUSE WE ONLY HAD IT FOR ABOUT 5 MONTHS. VERY EASY TO SET UP AND VALUE FOR MONEY IS REASONABLE.

Es excelente, muy nítida de día y de noche, las funciones son perfectas, suena si el bebé se mueve, puedes manipular la cámara desde el monitor, lo puedes mover hacia arriba y abajo y hacia los lados como también puedes acercar hasta 4x. En definitiva me encantó! Ya había regresado 2 anteriormente a esta porque no eran nada prácticas, sin duda la conservaré.

I bought this product as I needed a dual camera for two kids at once. The camera is ok, the picture quality is adequate. The one thing I like more about this camera vs my old single camera is that you can select whether you want an alarm to sound when noise is detected. That’s nice to have control over. The biggest downside (so far) is that the cameras cannot be used with any portable/clip style mounts. So when baby is in a bassinet away from the wall or traveling and using a pack n’ play you cannot use the camera; it only has a permanent wall mount. That alone is super frustrating and makes me regret this purchase. Unfortunately I’ve already unboxed everything and some parts I didn’t use got tossed so I can’t return it.
