Obsessed Wubbanub momma! The perfect pacie!
We are Wubbanub fans and have been since my daughter was born. They’re so easy for newborns to hang on to and finagle them into their mouth. My daughter used to suck on the legs and all, but she’s bigger now and knows where the pacie is!! I recommend Wubbanub to everyone I know and will buy for gifts for baby showers and new moms every chance I get. I just love them and my baby does as well! The caterpillar is adorable with his patchwork design and he’s a bit longer and stiffer than some of our others and that makes him easy for my little girl to grip him. Overall, wonderful purchase.

Not great for newborns better for toddlers
I never understood why people had their kids walking around with a stuffed animal hanging out of their mouths until I read a few reviews. I decided to take a chance and go with the caterpillar. This is supposed to keep the pacifier from falling out of the babies mouth and unfortunately this one doesn't do that. It is plush filled rather than the bean material of the other ones plus the legs are too short to rest it on the babies chest. However, I am not giving up on it just yet and I am sure when she gets a little bigger and starts to use her hands it will be worth it. It is cute, durable, and of good quality but unfortunately it just doesn't serve my purposes with a newborn. I'm sure as she gets older she will get some use out of it. I wish I would have went with one of the animals with the long legs and the bean filling as I'm sure that would have worked as intended. I guess this type is good with older babies and toddlers and not newborns.

Cute, functional
I bought this pacifier for my granddaughter. I thought ALL of this type are the same but not true. I have bought the WUB A NUB brand 4 years previous for my grandson and it was long wearing and safe. I always checked it to be sure the pacifier was attached well and safe for him. This Mary Meyer brand seems to wear as well and are so cute too. I put them into gentle/delicate cycle with other items and add some LYSOL Laundry Sanitizer with Crisp Linen scent that kills up to 99.9% of Bacteria and then let it air-dry and we are good to go! Just MAKE SURE NEW MOMS AND DADS you do NOT buy cheaper knock-off brands for safety and care issues for your baby to use!

Fabric texture not as pictured, leg sewn on crooked
One of the legs was sewn on crooked (drives some crazy!) and the floral patterned part on the caterpillars body is not ribbed like it is shown in the photo. I was disappointed with that because I wanted a textured animal that my son could easily hold. Not worth returning. I also took off the Soothie pacifier and sewed on a Mam pacifier holder (I cut it and just sewed the holder, not the clip). Soothie pacifiers are not supposed to be used for babies older than 6 months because A) babies are usually teething by then and the pacifier itself is not suited to be chewed on with teeth and B) Soothie pacifiers are not good for oral development (look up images of pacifier teeth and it is most likely caused by children using pacifiers in this shape).

Daughter doesn't like the caterpillar
Love these wubbanubs, and nothing wrong with the quality of this one but my daughter doesn't like it.I've found that the different shapes of the wubbanub animals affect their use - one with a long neck might be good for side sleepers, while the cats, zebra, and monkey type shapes are better for sleeping on the back. This one's legs aren't sturdy like the other back sleeping ones, and the connection between the pacifier isn't as taught as my daughter prefers. I personally don't like it as much as the others because it's not as soft or cute as the others.Favorites in my house are the tabby cat, tiger, monkey, and turtle. Perfect shape for our needs.

Rolls off, no Bueno
Our two year old has had a wubbanub since she was a week old and still has that ratty old bear. It worked great for holding the paci on her chest and now it's her security item. So naturally we ordered a wubbanub for our last baby who is 2 months now. This body shape is NOT conducive to helping hold a paci. The body is so round and the legs are short that it just rolls off her chest and even the head isn't sewed on straight so it almost tugs it out of her mouth. The only time it stays in is after she nurses in bed at night and I am there next to her to keep it still. Luckily she's not a binky fiend like her older sister so it's not always in but definitely would not recommend this one for an infant

Adorable and soothing
I love this for my daughter. She latched on right away. My only issue is that the shape being so round, it doesn’t stay well on my baby’s chest and falls out of her mouth quickly. But once she is older and can hold it, I’m sure it’ll be her favorite. I am going to order another Wubb but a different more flat animal for now.

Too heavy to stay in mouth
For some reason out of all the wubbanubs I have purchased this one is made different and weighs down the paci making it come out of my baby's mouth. Even as a newborn she has been able to hold the others in her mouth but the way this paci is sewed in makes it bottom heavy. The look is one of my favorites but they need to work on how the paci is sewn in for sure.
