These come factory assembled aside from you can choose from attaching a round fixing base for screwing directly onto something solid, or a 6 inch spike for something soft. Either way you get a great light from these spots, a nice warm beam to highlight your garden. You'll need to supply your own 12v DC power supply and cable though, each spot has around 10 inch of 2-core cable coming out that you'll need to connect up with waterproof cable connectors. Ask a professional if you're not sure.

Extremely happy with these lights, very easy to put together, simple 2 core cable I had to link up with my own cable and into a 12v transformer. Light is a warmer light that looks much better than cold white light, the light spread and reach up the tree is just right, not like a world war 2 search light burning your eyeballs if you dare look straight at the light, and not like candle light barely illuminating its own reflector.

These items come and I was very impressed with them until I came to the last one out of the box and the glass was cracked. I was refunded straight away with no hassle. I would recommend these as the quality of them look great , just unfortunate one was damaged or else would be 5 star

I purchased these light a few months ago, went to connect them, thinking it would be ok, I got any electrian friend of mine to do it for me, and he informed me, I would need a transformer, which isnt exactly ideal, and the lead that comes which each one, isnt much longer that my hand, which is crazy! I am still waiting to get it sorted, as I now have to find the transformer! But, on the positive side, the actually lights are strong and sterdy looking, but as of yet, I dont know how bright or what the colour of the light is like, that comes from it!

Opened package to find no mains cable and connections,No descriptions of what I needed and also would have more money to pay for these ,No use if can't use

It would be nice to be able to change the brightness either of all the lights or even better of each light independently. But that would be at significant cost. I solved this for myself by sticking duct tape over the lens, and I could then attenuate the light output to my needs (the light shines through standard silver tape).

I have installed ten of these units for garden lighting. They are a very well engineered product with a cast aluminium body well sealed against moisture. If I have any criticism I would like a longer electrical cable tail
