NOTE: This fits the Mepro 21M model with the 2 QD levers. I can adjust this to fit the IDF base model or the Mepro 21 I model or the carry handle base model. Just let me know what model you have. This has been torture tested by IWI and passed with flying colors. It is made of a 30% glass filled polymer. It has been illustrated in American Rifleman Magazine. The Reticule Enhancement Module 21 (REM 21) fixes the problem that is inherent in the Mepro 21 sight. We all know in certain low light conditions or when aiming at bright or light colored backgrounds, the Mepro 21 loses its sight picture. When that happens just turn on the REM 21 and you will get a sharp sight picture. The REM 21 Illuminates the light collector fiber optics on the Mepro 21. The REM 21 has 11 illumination settings so the cross hairs can be seen outdoors in daylight on its brightest setting (even against snow or white backgrounds) or in total darkness on its lowest setting. The REM 21 does not interfere with the Tritium illumination of the Sight.

Great product and great seller!!!
I was almost ready to give up on my mepro m21 simply because I couldn’t see the red dot. I came across this little product and it is a complete game changer! Takes 1 minute to install on your sight and luminates the red dot perfectly. Great communication by seller as well. I messaged him to make sure this would work on my scope and he answered me right away.

WOW! If you have a Mepro 21 and don't have this - I don't know what you are thinking!
Oddly it arrived during downtime enabling me to install and test immediately. WOW!1.) Construction: It seems solid. The fit was perfect and it seems strongly made. NO LIGHT snuck out of the sides which honestly surprised me. Yes, it lights up the Mepro 21 - kind of a "no kidding that is what it is meant to do" but the light does not bleed from the unit itself showing a great design.2.) Installation: One screw, included, and the tool, included. That is all, folks. No power tools required nor desired. I believe the screw provided did have locktite on it but I am not going to remove it to check and it hasn't backed out with recoil.3.) Use: Incredible increase. It makes the sight look like an electronic sight! You can adjust it for more or less light which I would guess would play with battery time.4.) Overall: Why would you NOT put this on? Weight is miniscule. Operation is up to the operator; use it when you need it and don't use it when you can get away without it! Honestly, if it was on "all the time" it would be a "no go" as then I would be stuck with the Mepro 21 bleeding light (not the REM 21 but the sight itself). If it weighed a lot I would see why you might not want to throw it on. But at almost no weight (I should have put it on the scale - my bag), user selective operation makes this a no brainer.Buy it. There is every reason WHY you should throw it on and very little reason not to do so!

What an improvement
I shouldnt have to buy something to enhance a $400 sight, but I didn't have much choice if I wanted to keep it for my Galil. This works and works well, love the sight now, I guess only downside is the sight kinda glows in the dark with the light on it... I'd rather see the dot than be stealthy lol.Either way, its not cheap but well worth it if you want to keep your Mepro.

Tritium doesn't last forever.
The Mep 21 is great because you don't have to put a battery in it. The downside is that it becomes garbage when the tritium wears out. The light is a nice enhancement for now and makes the unit useful in 8-10 years. Even if you keep it in your parts box to install later, it's a smart purchase IMO.

Good quality; easy install.
What I like: it fits well, and looks like it belongs there. I like that the battery comes with it. On setting 11 it is very bright against a bright sky (positioned in dark, looking into bright sky) and makes the triangle reticle sharp. What I don't like: no locktite on the screw that comes with the light. It is really bright on 11, but as you click down below 6, there is little difference in the reticle. Other than that, I have no complaints. This solves the problem with the Mepro M21. I cannot figure why it isn't part of the site system to begin with. You would think the Israelies had this figured out by now.Anyway, it's a great piece of equipment. It solves the problem efficiently and with that pew-pew style without looking mall-ninja cool. In other words, Garand Thumb wouldn't have it on his rig im sure, so it won't be "operater approved" but it is practical and gets the job done.

Augments my M21 for tricky lighting scenarios
I have a Meprolite M21 on an IDF AR9 carry-handle and this mounted perfectly! It was easy to send the modification request to the vender and surprisingly quick shipping given the modifications! The light functions well and is adjustable in intensity. Recommended!

If you have a Meprolight M21, just go ahead and buy one of these....NOW.
I just received my unit today. I have a Meprolight M21 and really like it, but the situational "washout" issue is unfortunately a real thing with this optic. Generally the optic I have is still visible when shooting from shaded areas into more lighted ones (especially outside where it is almost always pretty bright) but inside I have found that aiming the M21 reticle at a white light will cause you in most cases to lose the reticle ( it "washes out").Well, this illuminator solves that--really, really well. There are 11 different brightness settings, 11 being brightest, 1 being dimmest ("0" being "off"). Using the the illuminator inside a house even at the lowest setting, you can see the difference it makes. At "11" and aimed at a white light, there is no way I can get the reticle to wash out, but even at lower brightness settings around "3" or "4" or so I can still sometimes see the reticle, albeit very faintly (still an improvement over the basic M21, where the reticle would be washed out completely). In the instructions, it advises that two different battery types may be used; one of them if used will make the unit work even brighter. Installation is extremely simple, and the simple allen wrench required for the task is included. There are some who will say that by introducing an element to the M21 that requires batteries, it defeats the point of the optic, which ordinarily requires no batteries. I must disagree with this. The M21 is a very good optic by itself, but is made even better with this addition. The unit does not even need to be on the vast majority of the time, so it can usually be left off to conserve battery life. Also, unlike something like an Eotech that has a fairly short battery life, if the battery does die in this unit, the Meprolight will still continue to function normally in the vast majority of lighting conditions. This illumination unit makes a very good optic into an excellent optic, and is very affordable on top of that.If you have an M21, do yourself a favor and get one of these!
