Moisture wicking is very important when buying a face mask. They do work as a medical mask. The gaiter seems a bit tight at first but it does stretch just enough to be comfortable & stays up. I wear it around my neck as a scarf to pull it up as I may need it. I bought several for my family. I also spoke w/Doc before buying confirming they will work. The key is moisture wicking!! Thx. 2/5 stars due to fit/graphics patternThis product will work just fine as a wind screen if you are skiing, hiking, on a moped or engaged in other activities. But there are a couple problems that this product doesn't over come.1. While it meats the necessary functionality, one main issue is the fit. As you notice in the stock images of the product and in most of the customer images, there is a difference in design. The stock photos clearly show this item being tapered at the top and bottom. The product I received was a non-tapered tube shape. The reason this is important to me? The product isn't supposed to be suction tight around your face and neck. You head/face is almost always larger than your neck, and the base or your neck is wider than the top of your neck which is why you need a taper at the top and bottom or it is either too tight/loose on your face. For me it's too tight.2. The graphics are good and they match the photo's graphic design. But, you can clearly tell from the stock photo there is a sheen that gives off a shiny effect. Well, I was expecting mine to also have a slightly shiny effect/brighter colors but it instead has a series of very dull colors and sheen. There are similar colors to the stock photo, but much duller.I gave this product 2 stars because I could have purchased a cheaper gaiter with no pattern/colors but I wanted this one as it looked really cool. I would expect the colors to fade after a few washes but not be faded immediately from the original packaging. It still looks pretty cool, but it is a bit tight and uncomfortable as a result.I might give them a second chance and buy another one, but I won't make that determination until I take the second one (I bought two of the same) out of the packaging (it's at home and I have the first one with me on vacation).

I bought this to use as a Corona Virus mask and it works well. I fold up a paper towel to put between my mouth/nose and the mask. I make small diagonal folds at the upper corners of the towel so that there is a little bulk at the sides of the nose, which helps reduce any air leakage out the top. The mask itself is fairly thin and I suggest letting it air dry after use as it doesn't look like it would hold up to repeated trips thru the clothes dryer.

First off the Quality seems great with the exception that the top and bottom are not hemmed. This may not be an option for this stretchy material and maybe it's not even a problem for this material, but it is a point of concern that only time will tell.It looks great and is comfortable. The shipping even during these times was reasonable at a week and a day. I believe it was less than a week via USPS. The price seems to high but not outrageous under the circumstance and for the ability to have a stile of your choice.As for the pandemic and as a functional mask:This mask is not great for protection, but that's not even the point of masks. I can put on a surgical mask, cover it with this mask and then remove the surgical mask loops from my ears. Then this becomes more comfortable, better looking, and more protection than a surgical mask alone.So it has it's uses. First if masks become mandatory anywhere this will conveniently meet the mandate and I will keep distant and wash my hands for safety as always.Second, It's a great mask for aesthetics while DJing (from home) during the pandemic and possibly even after, and that is 75% of why I bought it, to have fun under the circumstances.I recommend these to everyone as a convenient option although they seem overpriced right now. If you need a mask for safety because personal distancing is not an option at your job this type of mask will be worse than no mask at all. Get or make something better. As a final thought, this could be somewhat helpful for mild allergies for people like myself who get irritated during times of peak pollen especially at my wooded home, but again, if someone has severe allergies this would be a waste of effort.So it is what it is which means it's a good product for the right people for the right use cases and a bad option for someone needing personal safety from a mask.

Really liked this product! Bought it for Bonnaroo music festival in Tennessee and it was very multi functional. I used it as a headband on the way down and as a neck scarf another night. It is great colors and when it's wrapped around your neck and soaked with water it's helpful. Will reuse for summer a lot and hiking.Take a good look at the colors because those are more visible than the design itself so don't be disappointed if you can't notice the UFO.Only 4 stars because the material is slightly loose when you try and wear it as a face mask so I constantly had to adjust it and I wish it was a tad softer but it's not scratchy by any means I would just lie it to be more silky cotton. Otherwise met and exceeded my expectations

Bought this to use in lieu of a face mask due to Coronavirus. Very disappointed, I thought it would be stretchier, the seams are not sewn and I expect the fabric will start to unravel and fall apart quickly. Additionally the material is very thin, so thin you can see right through it. If I didn’t really need it I would send it back.

This is just cheap fabric sewn into a tube. It doesn't even have a hem on the cut edges to protect it from tearing or running. 5 minutes after putting it on I noticed runs in the fabric. So now I get to hem it myself to get some use out of it before it falls apart, yay.

Useless, must be made from Asian body models because this barely goes around my wrist. Admittedly I'm a larger human, but this essentially strangles me if I try to wear it in scarf mode as shown.
