Installed in a 2020 Acura RDX and it works as hoped. I was nervous after reading mixed reviews on first gen products, but I am happy with this new version. It was also hard to find details of whether this device works with Acura and specifically my car with its unique touchpad, so I took the risk and it does work. Scrolling and swiping works about as well as wired did. It isn't the fastest system on Acura's side, but a slow steady hand works well. There is a delay when switching songs. It seems to respond right away on the screen, but there is a few second pause before the song starts playing. This is true whether you change the song using the screen, steering wheel control, or the phone itself. The instructions say to have your phone forget the bluetooth connection with the car (Note: leave bluetooth on just unpair with the car). I ignored this at first and there were issues with CarPlay failing to load until I disconnected and reconnected the USB cable. Once I unpaired bluetooth, it has connected flawlessly on a few dozen drives without issue. I have the high end sound system and I noticed a drop in music quality with bluetooth. The music sounds great through wireless CarPlay and the ottocast. I was on the fence and am really happy I gave this device a try.

This is definitely one of the best products available. Pretty stable and no issues whatsoever. Ease to setup and to connect. I've been using this product for calls, music and gps and didn't experience any crackling sounds or crashes. Go for it and you won't regret.

J'ai en ma possession un Hyundai Sonata 2015 Sport 2.0T. Le radio intégré à cette voiture n'est de base pas compatible avec CarPlay ou Android Auto si vous ne faites pas la mise à jour. Cependant, mon iPhone, la prise de courant est défectueuse, et donc, ce petit adapteur petit et discret me permet d'avoir CarPlay ! Il n'y a aucun lag entre le radio et le téléphone. Attention, pour une des rare fois, le fabriquant indique que c'est incompatible avec Android, donc malheureusement il avait raison. Ce n'est pas compatible avec Android Auto.

It’s super fast, got connected in matter of seconds. Post first connect every time I get in to my car it seamlessly get connected with 4-5 seconds. Already used earlier version of android adapter. This one is definitely faster. Happy with the purchase!

Dudaba mucho en este tipo de dispositivos dado a que no siempre tienen buena conexión y son muy lentos. Pero este la verdad me a funcionado muy muy bien, todo es muy fluido, el único pero que pondría es que en la música hay lag al cambiar de canción, se tarda medio segundo en escucharse el cambio de canción a pesar de que en la pantalla ya se visualiza qué canción en la que sigue. Sin embargo es algo a lo que te acostumbras y la vd a los 2 días ya ni te das cuenta. Llevo un mes usándolo y hasta ahorita jamás se me ha desconectado ni presentado alguna falla. Yo lo tengo conectado a un Kia Rio 2018
