Rainbow OPTX Chakra Color Therapy Glasses

Good glasses for the price. They are a bit large, however. (Wish they made a smaller frame.) I decided to try these to help with my Vestibular disorder which causes problems with my eyes (made worse in ubiquitous Fluorescent lighting). Prescription "yellow lenses", while perhaps better, also came at a huge price tag (ex. $250 or more!). I opted to try these while in places with fluorescent lighting. It helps in the huge box stores; also helps with computer glare. If you suffer as I do, it is worth a try. For me, they worked and were therapeutic.

For the money, I wish the frames were of slightly better quality. Unfortunately, they are akin to the quality of typical "gas station sunglasses."However, this product is really about its lenses. The light blue color is perfect, allowing the glasses to be worn inside and outdoors. I wear them daily as they really do seem to provide a calming effect.5 stars if the frames were nicer.

I returned these. There was nothing wrong with them, I just didn't like them for the purpose I bought them for...which was to wear indoors after eye surgery. I wanted them to not be too dark yet shade my eyes from view a little. However these were just clear glasses with a very slight tint. Too slight for me and they were very oversized. So if you want big these would be good. Customer service by the seller was top notch.

My brother is colorblind and found out he is missing Magenta in his vision. His doctor recommended $700 magenta glasses, but we could not afford them. I found these and had him try them out before we saved up for the more expensive pair. HE LOVES THEM!! They correct just like more expensive glasses. He is seeing colors he has never seen before. For him they do not make everything have a magenta tone, they just look like normal colors. The doctor told him that 90% of men with color blindness need magenta correction. I think the more expensive pair is probably for glass and metal where these are plastic. Rainbow OPTX were also offering buy 2 get 1 free on their site so I bought him 3 more pairs. I highly recommend these if you have color blindness and cannot afford other pairs. These worked just as good for him. He does have to wear magenta colored glasses now for the rest of his life, but they actually look really good. The frame is modern and looks great. I also got him the tortoise frames. Love them!!

Cute but no notice of mood effect. No real help with bright sun either. They claim it is 100% protective but if your eyes are strained from the sun that is hard to believe. They sent me an email asking me to write a positive review. I told them they probably would not like me to do that as I did not have anything positive to say. They made no offer to refund or try to provide proper customer service.

They were bought by my wife through my account. I have NO PERSONAL OPINION ON THESE, but my wife likes them. She said next time she is going to go with a more yellow tint than pink, as pink is still not helping very much with the strain. At no fault of the seller, brain is effected by things differently on a person to person basis.

I get seasonal depression and these glasses are great for it. It's a light blue which at first I didn't think it was blue enough but after awhile I notice that the sky feels more like the summer kind of sky. It reminds me the feeling of how sinner looks or feels when I put these on. I instantly puts me in a better mood. Friend shave also commented that they looked nice. Kind of a retro Bono type of look. I recommend them. The construction is decent . But don't lean on them if you've put them in your pocket because the frame on my first pair snapped. But they worked well on elevating my mood so I had to buy another pair. Without regret.

Hard to purchase these types of lenses without any kind of comparison. These were pretty bright, and made me nauseous to wear for any amount of time. I don't blame this on the product, as it may work for some people. They were just way too intense for my comfort.
